We extend our catalog with a fresh addition from our Spanish friend QILI and his aerial tone mark. He makes the move with no hesitation and instigate a rigid line of skittered kicks which are quickly shadowed by diving basal sounds. An arrangement of scratchy tones create a driving frame for this composition. It’s an adulteration between dance-floor oriented and atmospheric states. Half way through, the rhythm is soaking into a melodic footing with subsequenting keys that are merely audible in the background. A more mellow experience is due on A2. Liquid patterns and bird like shots, makes the audition to be more laid back and relaxed. QILI left some room for your own thoughts and a very lofty feeling. Over turning this records brings us to Suolo’s aphotic comprehension of the “Lup Vechi”. A very compressed selection of kicks & snare in a company of jangling percussions and bleeps. The crystalline keys is the fragment that keeps the resemblance between the two artists. Astral and stretched vocals is something that gets under the skin on this one. A mastership that belongs to sepulchral locations with a whale of gramophones.

VBX is back with a tracky three tracker, courtesy of long term crew affiliate Frank Haag. His “Raw and Saturated Blue EP”, featuring the first outing with Rick Maia under their Anomal moniker, perfectly showcases Haag’s artistic evolution of the past years. “A Dash of the Diabolical” feels like a masterclass in contemporary minimalism; heady modulating soundscapes and trippy percussive elements, revolving around a solid driving backbone, make ‘Dash’ stand proud in all its hypnotic glory. 
 
The flip kicks off with Anomal’s “Silicon Ballet”. Equally driving, as it is elegant. This one has dancefloor destroyer written all over. A secret weapon for Raresh, who has been championing it in almost every set during the past 6 months, now finally available for all to play and enjoy. Don’t sleep!

Haag signs off with “The Journey to Where You Already Are”. Cut from the same repetitive cloth as ‘Dash’, but evoking a completely different set of emotions. The combination of haunting pad sounds and spoken words make ‘Journey’ suitable for early morning after hour sessions, but also for stay at home contemplative listening while enjoying a good glass of wine.

On side A we have the old school teacher and legend Steve O' Sullivan with his track "Keep Me Waiting" which is a start to finnish master class and a perfect example of how to express multiple feelings through music. Complementing that side is our friend and incredible person RQZ with his track "Blow Out", touches of mystery and seriousness is what describe this track the best and of course a perfect groove to start heating up any dance floor. Side B start with another good friend from many years ago, Dot with his track "Against All Odds" a track with a lot of aggressiveness, sophisticated drums, dope and progressive bassline, and to finish side B we have a family member Louiv with "Thoughtful Moment" and as the name indicates, a perfect track to get you thinking about life, a track that makes you feel many emotions once you hear it, the power of the bassline and those subtle enveloping pads that go in and out throughout the track can transport you to any memory no matter how remote it may be.
