JD ZAZIE is an experimental DJ, avant-turntablist and sound artist.  Coming from a DJ and radiophonic background JD Zazie has explored over the years different approaches of real-time manipulation on fixed recorded sound sources.  Her live and recorded output works to redefine DJ and electroacoustic activities. As a solo performer, in small groups or large ensembles she moves in an area which is constantly stretching the borders of what is supposed to be DJ mixing, free improvisation and composed music.
She is a member of the Italian label Burp Enterprise and broadcasts monthly on Colaboradio and Reboot.fm.

The Peckinpah Trio specializes in music composed after 2000, placing an emphasis on detailed preparation of experimental music. Their first performance was in 2008 in a double-trio formation together with Jürg Frey and Christian Wolff. They have since performed at Listen/Space Brooklyn, the Incubator Arts Project at St. Mark's Church NYC, Klang im Turm München, Kunstraum Walcheturm Zurich, and the Alte Kirche Boswil.

This squares well with the controlled improvisation of the piece, and the strength of each of the players as improvisers. It was very much of the moment, from one moment to the next. Christian Kobi, saxophone, grew up in Münsingen near Bern and studied classical saxophone with Marcus Weiss in Basel. He participated in seminars in free improvisation with Walter Fähndrich and received a post-graduate degree in Free Improvisation at the Musikhochschule Luzern. In 2002-2003 he received a fellowship at the Cité Internationale des Arts, and took numerous courses at IRCAM. He teaches saxophone at the Konservatorium der Musikschule Bern. He lives in Bern.

Craig Shepard, studied trombone with Frank Crisafulli at Northwestern University and sacbut with Ulrich Eichenberger at the Hochschule Musik und Theater Zürich. He has performed with the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Collegium Novum Zürich, the Zurich Symphony Orchestra, the Ensemble für Alte Musik München, and many others. On the sacbut, he has recorded with the Münchner Vokal Ensemble. His compositions are published by Edition Wandelweiser. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Beat Keller, electric guitar, studied Jazz Guitar at the Hochschule Musik und Theater Zürich and Composition at the Musikhochschule/Jazzschule Luzern. He leads the project Keller's <10>, a ten-piece ensemble on the border of classical music and jazz, whose album received "Best Debut Album of the Year" from All About Jazz. He lives in Winterthur.
