In the authors words, this EP was recorded while he was restructuring his modular equipment. 

This "always provides an exciting moment of exploration and discovery of new sounds. I added quite a few new modules in that time and, in my experience, that is one of the best opportunities to have happy accidents in the studio because the system itself takes me to a combination of sound sources, sequencers and effects that work together". Hence the name Unruly Machines. "Ive experimented a lot with spectral techniques and layering, which is most prominent in the textures of Corridor and the main synth line of Targa. The tracks were also created in a phase where I started incorporating more and more dedicated drum modules. 

The first order of business was, of course, to route them through a bunch of external effects (mainly distortion and delays), which contributed to the raw sound of some of the tracks".

The latest techno showcase from FEEDBACK. comes in the form of a 5 track ep from Geneva based artist GFX, delivering 3 sci-fi infused cuts alongside Steller remixes from Manchester's Arkane and label head E.DN.
GFX is a Spanish producer based in Geneva, and more recently in London since 2020. Co-founder at Introspective Records & Groove Revival and also booking agent for Eleven Five. Mostly inspired by 90’s acid and 00’s hard groove, GFX combines severe grooves, harsh bass lines and paced-up sonorities, allowing him to express his emotions in a single and unique way.

SLV is featured on Mitsubasa's latest EP, and the Berlin-based musician has contributed to numerous quality labels, including Ilario Alicante's Virgo, BCCO, OECUS, Marco Faraone's UNCAGE, Slam's Soma, and SHDW's Mutual Rytm.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Signature" with a raw and powerful sound. A thundering and throbbing bottom end captures the energetic groove, while the modulating synth stabs and gritty textures act like a brewing storm of dance floor delight.

The final piece in this assortment of compositions comes from the Clergy boss himself with his ‘3/10 Remix’ of Felicie’s ‘Shadow Works’. With the surprise inclusion of fresh vocal component, Cleric distils the wooden thudding which clicked and clacked throughout the original and employs hissing synth elements to add a venomous turmoil and close the release in state of controlled commotion.
