On one side the butterfly is relaxing and floating on the wind, but on the other hand he also sets with steam and fire to a fall into a low altitude. This is how it feels when Brejcha makes music.

The fourth album is exactly the description of this "Feuerfalter", a kind of backflash into the impressive career of Boris Brejcha. An album that deliberately shows how the artist works versatile. Times slightly floating, sometimes wild hitting the wing, always full of passion. The influences of his travelings and performances characterize his art again.

This creates a music that may be accompanied on Brejchas audience the whole day: at home, in a relaxed atmosphere or just at night, when the trip through the clubs starts. On the album "Feuerfalter" this individuality is turned on. Brejcha even picks up the desire of his ans to weave a few quieter tracks into his cosmos.

Premiere: Drucal "Lagrimas" - Molecular Recordings

We are super excited to present the 142nd episode from @aumrecordings co-founder TENO!

TENO is a DJ and producer currently based in Osaka, who has been making a strong impact on the techno scene in recent years through both his DJ sets and productions. His activities now extend not only throughout Japan but also across Europe, China, and other parts of Asia.

On the international podcast circuit, he was featured as the first artist in the new FOWRE series on Eerste Communie, curated by Marrøn, one of the world’s leading DJs based in the Netherlands. He has also contributed mixes to labels such as Polygonia’s IO Records, Nebuleus, Reverse, Tensione Collective, and CONCEPTUAL VIOLENCE.

As a producer, TENO continues to release music on labels around the globe. Through his own techno label Aum Recordings, he released an EP featuring a remix by Munich-based artist Polygonia. Additionally, he collaborated with world-renowned DJ Wata Igarashi, who contributed a remix for TENO’s first vinyl EP, DONT CRY OVER SPILLED MILK.

In February 2025, TENO launched a second label, Monos, with the aim of expressing his unique artistic identity. The label has already released the Violet EP and Primrose EP, with the Yuugao EP set to follow soon.

Soma Records are pleased to welcome Pig & Dan and Mark Reeve to the roster for their first collaborative EP together.

Spanish DJ’s and producers Pig & Dan released their début album on Cocoon in 2007 and have had a hectic schedule ever since, releasing their material on labels from Yoshitoshi Recordings (based in Washinton D.C.), Cocoon Recordings, Boxer and their own recognised imprints Submission and Tecmission. Tracks such as ‘Terminate’ and 'Sly Detector’ have propelled them to worldwide success, and not to mention numerous remixes. 

English born, and now living in Germany, Mark Reeve first began as a club DJ at the tender age of sixteen and hasn’t looked back since. The releases of his two albums have pushed towards his success with his most important material also through cult label Cocoon Recordings. He brings the sound of London and Germany together to produce his own style of darker shades of House.

Origami is the opening track on their début Soma EP. Driving drums and a loose bassline combine perfectly in a track that captivates throughout. This is a no-nonsense A-side for sure. 

'Born Naked' is an irresistible House track that steps in with a thick slice of bassline funk. Combine this with a classic arpeggiator sound and tight rolling percussion and you have something that will bring a deeper and groovier feel coming through the track to the floor. 

'Expand' really is a different kettle of fish altogether. Sonically it sits in the murky and rumbling world of the subs, but does so in a manner that suits the atmospheres of the track perfectly.

'Beneath The Meadows' is an afterparty special. Restrained yet slightly surreal and dreamlike the track twists and turns through bell-like hits and percussive shifts. 

An ear-pricking collaboration on their first Soma release.
