Orlando music culture continues to grow and inspire.  Sean Samaroo's live sets at Monkey Bar represent a great mix of what is defacto fun in the Florida house music scene.  He has keen ear to keep the sound open and housey early with some funky vibes.  Later he moves deftly through a few styles to more banging progressive.  As the night unfolds, he transitions those genres with bridges of style and consideration.  We used to call these "journeys by DJs"; time to get up.

Mark Reeve is a familiar name to anyone truly serious about techno. With a career spanning nearly two decades and championed by techno heavyweights like Adam Beyer and Sven Väth, Mark’s groundbreaking productions can be found on Drumcode, Cocoon, Bedrock. Truesoul, Terminal M, Soma, Second State, ELEVATE, Intec, Bek Audio .. and of course his own label, SubVision.

Mark is an artist that wears his heart on his sleeve. You can feel rawness and emotion in his music, attributes fully harnessed in his new LP. ‘Raw Mind’ is forged in a spirit of the techno underground taking back some control. ‘Raw Mind’ sates an appetite for techno purists searching out vibrant techno with its roots in dark cavernous clubs with pummelling sound systems and bass that hits you hard in the chest, shaking the foundations you stand on.

Released on his mighty SubVision, ‘Raw Mind’ captures where Mark is a producer, artist, DJ and label owner. As always, Mark’s projects are delivered with passion and integrity. The result of many hours in the studio getting the right sounds, making little sonic adjustments to ensure the final results deliver where it matters the most - pumped out of the speakers and onto the dance- floor to give the crowd something truly special to get lost in.

Title track ’Raw Mind’ continues the onslaught and encapsulates what Mark is all about. Driving pounding kinetic uncompromising techno. The classy breakdown shows a true understanding of how to work a dark room. The beats are removed so the melody can get inside your mind, ensuring a sense of elation when they kick back in. Techno from the heart filled with genuine passion.

Anyone serious about their techno will certainly have come across the name Mark Reeve. Moving to Germany from England 15 years ago in search of an inspirational scene that embraced his tough, uncompromising sound. First discovered by Sven Väth, Mark has since gone on to establish a reputation totally respected by his peers through groundbreaking productions on iconic labels such as Cocoon, Drumcode, Soma, Second State, Bedrock, ELEVATE, Intec, Bek Audio, and many more.

Fully established on the scene, Mark has helped push electronic music forward as a solo artist, while working with true heavyweights like Adam Beyer and Pig&Dan. Equally at home behind the decks and a mixer live as he is in the studio, Mark’s DJ sets have been receiving fantastic feedback. His talent and artistic vision take listeners on a thrilling journey full of hard-driving beats and intense melodies at dance floors around the globe, such as Awakenings Gashouder, Space Ibiza, Fabrik Madrid, or Rex Club.

Mix No. 1: Constructible

A Preliminary Note: This mix series is suppose to mostly be a sort of techno set diary for me (@Constructible) to try to highlight some of the music I love the most. I will post my own content but will probably host friends and guests as they request to be on this page. The idea behind this series is record quick in-the-moment sets and upload them sporadically. No thinking, minimal editing/mastering, just recorded mixes from my apartment. I hope to always release quality mixes that are worthy of listens, but I plan to sacrifice perfection for the sake of capturing moments I am happy to share. I hope that I get to continue this series and that you enjoy listening! - M

A dive into some early 2010's tech house mixing in with some more modern peak techno. I recorded this as sort of a love letter to Mark Reeve and Remy Unger, hoping to capture the intensity, percussive groove, and depth of tech house from the 2010's. I really love this type of music: as I feel that tech house has been co-opted by finance bros on Tribeca rooftops, I wanted to demonstrate that there exists a time where this music did not conjure thoughts of Patagonia vests. This sort of music is not my usual style, but I had loads of fun recording this, I hope you enjoy!

Amateur DJ sharing the music that inspires me

Dannix started to listen to house music and other related genres when he was 11 years old
later  when he went to highsch
ool he heard a few mixtapes from schoolmates en he checked out how they thid it

Then he slowly gathered his equipment with after school jobs.

First he bought low quality turntables with old speakers and after a few year he bought the technics turntables now finally he can mix serious mixtapes and record them digital on minidisk

Later when he was the age of 20 still djing but only at home he and some friends decided to throw some hardcore/techno oldschool partys

The first one was at a cantine from a sporthal
he was the first that evening who plays hardcore and it was a succes

later that year the partys that dennis and his friends gave become bigger and they decided to move to the discotheek the movies

From that time on organizing partys and play music for crowds became really important
the partys were a succes
and a lot of people came raving at the partys

In 2013 Dennis decided to take produce lessons in fl studio to make his own tracks in the future

today he is working hard on his own tracks and mixtapes

styles are raw hardstyle and techno
