@dd_curry is a Brooklyn-based producer and DJ originally hailing from Los Angeles. He’s the co-founder of the @fortunesignal label, which recently released his collaborative record with @panooc_music. The ‘Give Some EP’ features a remix by @devoye and has received support from Logic1000, Nikki Nair, and Ben Gomori. Curry was a resident DJ at Jupiter Disco from 2019 to 2021 and has composed music for commissioned projects from Chanel x American Ballet Theatre and The Guggenheim Works & Process. You can catch his next set this Thursday 6/16 at Mood Ring, where he’ll be playing B2B with @offffffbrand at the INTIMIST party.

This mix, recorded during a recovery from Covid, is an introspective collection of broken beats, bassy grooves, and heady UK garage cuts.

‘Curry’s House with D.D.Curry’ is a 2-hour dance music program on Voices At Night that combines DJ sets with guest interviews. The London-via-Brooklyn host is a DJ, producer and co-founder of electronic labels Fortune Signal and Working Rhythms Records. Each month, Curry will invite a guest DJ to provide a 1-hour set and have a lively conversation about songs that influenced them. In his mix for this month, Curry provides an energetic blend of house, UKG and rave sounds from around the world, with an emphasis on UK talent. He’s joined by Glasgow-based Dan be, a Spanish producer, DJ and co-owner of the Y4 Collective label, who discusses his disciplined approach to creating tracks, as well as his label’s curatorial process as it nears its 4th anniversary. Dan also contributes a clubby guest mix consisting of dancefloor-focused house, garage and breakbeats.

This month, Curry’s House welcomes Brooklyn-based DJ/Producer Kyle Louis (fka KLM) released on Fortune Signal and Working Rhythms Records after making a name for himself as co-founder of New York’s popular Little Disco parties. Louis’s guest mix features energetic, clubby house sounds with some cheeky surprises sprinkled in. Curry’s own mix kicks things off with fresh underground house and garage sounds.
