Presenter Mark Morris has spent many years before moving to Australia, working in the music industry, from his early days at Ray’s Jazz Shop in Soho, London, independent record labels, culminating in the curation of his own record label Bo’ Weavil Recordings. A labour of love, Bo’ Weavil catalogued free jazz, noise, drone and folk from contemporary musicians while reissuing long out of print gems from across the globe. Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to his weekly broadcasts.

This week's Somehtin' Else is rebroadcast of an old show back from 2021. This will be the first part of 2 shows looking at the singular music of Australian experimental guitarist and percussionist Oren Ambarchi. A huge favourite of Somethin' Else! After seeing him live last month in Sydney with Drummer and Robbie Avenaim it was time to re-broadcast this show and stay tuned for next week's part 2 with  a show of newer compositions by this truly unique and inspiring artist.
