For the founder of the Organica B2B Sessions Podcast and previous guest of The Odyssey Explorers series, music has always been a real passion for SRS. Early Electro and Acid House lead him into the realms of the Rave Scene from 1988 - 1993 and the world of Pirate Radio Stations. Sunrise & Biology enveloped London's airwaves. From there, he developed his love for Electronic Music. Organic House, Deep House, Progressive House, Melodic House, with a bit of Techno and Ambient thrown in. 

SRS has a sense of what visions and dreams are for in life, and sees the connection between them and music.  His journeys into nature around the world have informed his soul of the vital importance of what truly is organic in life and music.

For previous guest on The Odyssey's Explorers series, Italian DJ and artist Krista Lou attributes the vast musical culture experienced in her early years to her passion for music.  She was a big fan of the House classic "Old School".

The years that she spent later between Barcelona and Ibiza defines her style more these days, and her musical personality shows several facets between Minimal House, Progressive and more electronic sounds, but always marking her personal touch with tribal atmospheres mixing hypnotic and brilliant sounds.

Musical curation is part of her work. Her DJ sets tell stories, where her technique and form is unmistakable because nothing is random, and everything worked from harmonic knowledge.

She is a DJ host and Resident in different international radio programs and clubs in Spain and Italy.

Krista Lou lives on a farm in the Italian countryside, enjoying time with her family and horses.  She urges all of us to seek an authentic path and avoid the harmful messages and toxic energy of modern culture and news.  She believes being natural and spiritual is the key to living a fruitful and meaningful life.

Mettā Bhavana Meditation

Mettā (Pāli) or Maitrī (Sanskrit) means benevolence, loving-kindness, friendship, goodwill and active interest in others, the first of the four sublime states (Brahmaviharas) of Buddhist virtues and one of the 10 Pāramis in the Theravāda school of Buddhism.

The objective of Mettā meditation is detached love acting on kindness and love.  Starting first with ourselves, followed by our close and loved ones, these are followed by those neutral or unknown people, and then those people who, for some reason, had a bad time or who have hurt us. By doing this, we can come to feel Mettā in a universal way, feeling love and goodwill towards everyone and everything!  Selfless love!  Cultivating in ourselves, self-love and equanimity (a sublime state) towards others!  One way to practice Mettā is to medítate on phrases like "I wish that you experience happiness and be free from suffering."  Someone who has cultivated Mettā will not easily be afraid and will be able to subjugate it by being more loving and more prone to unconditional love.

In these times of violent unrest, widespread unrest and suffering, the need for a practice like mettā-bhāvanā is clear.  So that peace and harmony reign throughout the world.
