Here’s a rocker for you that Hedd and I wrote a year ago. I wanted to do a three piece power trio type song, without all the layered guitars, but with a Van Halen vibe to it. Hedd did the lyric about a father and teenage daughter from the father’s perspective trying to protect her. I called my daughter Jessica up and asked her to send me some of her photos she used to use on Myspace in her teenage years. So that’s her for the song icon.
So thanks to Hedd and Jessica for the help!

We lost Eddie Van Halen 10-6-2020 this past Tuesday from his battle with cancer. We lost a genius and an innovator, a great musician and songwriter. I will miss him. That’s why I decided to finish this song up and release it. Like millions of guitarists, he influenced me greatly. Though I sound nothing like the master, you might here a bit of his influence on the guitar work.
