Undeniably influenced by the mangled sound of the UK, the founding member of Bare Hands Records takes cues from the motor city’s funk, leading to his very own sonic interpretation, reflected in themes of manic repetition, complex rhythms, driving percussion and meticulous sequencing in his own tracks as well as his high-octane DJ Sets. Apart from his regular contribution to the viennese music and clubbing scene, Sedvs has been acclaimed on the international stage with his music. With ”Paradise Lost” he lately released his first LP on Bare Hands.

Today we are thrilled to introduce @kerosense !
Kerosene, a 20-year-old producer and DJ originally from the vibrant landscapes of South Africa, is now based in Berlin. Her journey into music began at the age of 11 when she started competing as a dancer. Rhythm quickly became second nature to her, but it didn’t take long for her to realize she was more captivated by the tracks playing than by her own moves. 
Inspired by the rich sounds of her homeland and the eclectic rhythms of the international music scene, Kerosene crafts sets that transport her audience into a transcendent atmosphere filled with hypnotic and groovy sounds. Her passion for music is driven by her desire to create spaces where people can lose themselves in the rhythm and simply dance. 
Believing in the power of music to evoke emotions and bring people together, Kerosene strives to make her work a testament to that philosophy. With every track, she aims to elevate her listeners, leaving them with unforgettable memories and a sense of euphoria. Through her music, Kerosene shares the joy it brings her, hoping to spread happiness and connection with every beat.
