Another piece with my friend @Rosindust, the 23rd, so far...
I can't give it a definition of its musical genre, there are many things in it and in these cases I solve the dilemma with a nice tag "World", which in fact means everything and nothing, or maybe only that it's not extraterrestrial music :)
Or maybe, in this case, choosing "World" is just right: a few days ago I was in Marseille, France, it was early in the morning and while everyone was sleeping I received on my cell phone the recording of Tatiana's part from Siberia. I listened to it and I replied: "Thank you! Tonight, in Rome,I'll put it all together and I'll let you know".
A few hours later, she was probably walking in a wood when she listened to the finished track I just sent back. Now it seems normal but, just thinking about something like this, until a few years ago it would have seemed impossible...
The wide world has become a small world.

Everyone has people they have loved who are no longer here.  We think of them and we miss them.  Have you ever dreamed about them? Had talks with them and could feel the warm from them? I have.  Most of them were with my father, who died when I was 35. Half my life ago.  When he hugged me, I could feel the warmth. When he walked away I felt such sadness. Alas, it wasn't me who played the guitar!. I gave it up a very, very long time ago. Besides, I can't remember how to pluck the chords... 🙄😊😁 (I used to sing it and play guitar when I was young).

In fact it is a guitar sound from the synthesizer going through a sound module. But no synthesizer guitar sound can replace the real sound of a guitar... Maybe now... With the new technology. Besides you can hear that it is a bit machine.

There are imperfections, I recorded it in one take. When I sing, I only have the feeling once, so inevitably the wrong notes and the pronunciation mistakes are in the “box” as they say.

“The Silent Pain” in the soul and body when it is difficult to know if you are in the right place at the right time... In a world where wars still persist, power and money devour people. It is sometimes difficult not to simply give up and hide in your shell to protect yourself. However, you have to get out of it and continue to move forward despite the pain.

SONG NOTES AND LYRICS: 
It's nice to be recording again with a view to completing my 5th Solo album over the next few months. I decided to go with just guitar and vocals for this song, which I think best reflects the lyrics. For those interested in how I record my acoustic guitar, I have used a slightly different technique for this song, using a blend of stereo small diaphragm microphones, together with Direct Input from my Taylor electro-acoustic guitar, played through a mixer into my audio interface. Hope you like it.

The original idea came from the chorus of the music. I thought of an accordion to create it, but unfortunately I couldn't find a good sound for the iPad for this instrument, so I scrapped the idea and replaced it with a soft synthesizer with some depth.

My partner in adventures, on this occasion, did the rest with an impeccable job full of creativity and elegance.

Dreaming

My music pieces are all piano improvisations expressing emotions. It is music telling stories without the words. In my earIy years I sang and played piano in piano bars or fronted bands of different styles, from country to heavy metal and to 40. I've been composing, teaching and performing most of my life.  I'm getting old(er) now 😔 but the great thing about creating music is it gets better the longer you play, and you have more to write about! 

This is what I leave of me to my generations to come who wonder where their desire to make music comes from. My mother, grandmother and great grandmother were both accomplished pianists when they were young. My son is also exceptional.  My great grandmother and gr grandfather sang and danced in minstrel shows (vaudeville) in the early 1900's. Kids today have no idea what life was like before moving pictures.  I now have great-grandchildren. They will know who I am through my music. When I am gone my music will still be here. What a wonderful thought!
