The year is 2123, the world has never been this over-populated. Malnourishment and pollution have driven the world's government into the use of secret experiments on humans, animals and anything the cyber-DNA experts can come-up with. Although these experiments are running wild on the streets they remain officially nonexistent. Their origin and purpose remain highly classified.

These are the stories as seen by one of these experiments, AE-0023 or “Chester” as his previous owner used to call him. A cat with the ability to comprehend and physically record, or store, events that take place. Being a highly agile creature with cybernetic capabilities this cat lives the life of a stray-cat; At night he sits on rooftops, sneaks down alleys or simply sits outside a window and observes. Satellite-data suggests AE-0023 has been present and perhaps active at some of the world's biggest supernatural events, caused, catalyzed or powered by these cybernetic experiments. (These events are quickly passed-off as “terrorist attacks” by the government.) These sounds are the aurally enhanced versions of encrypted files as captured by Chester. The decrypted contents of these files remain unknown.

Hailing from Egypt, the electronic music duo A-slam & K.A.E has been making waves in the global music scene with their unique blend of melodic techno and indie dance, After honing their skills in local clubs, A-SLAM & K.A.E gained international recognition with their debut EP Away in 2022. The EP showcased their signa- ture sound of infectious beats, dreamy melodies, and emotional vocals, and was quickly picked up by renowned DJs and labels around the world.

Art and science are inseparable: one cannot exist without the other. 

Creativity leads to innovation and that is what Precursor is striving for. Connecting elements from electronica and techno, Precursor's music leans on the verge of two sonic universes. 

Precursor is an electronic music artist and mixing engineer with over a decade worth of experience in various genres, playing nationally and internationally touring with dj sets, live acts and audiovisual shows. He also worked as a composer for film with credits on Feyenoords' documentary ”Gimenez” [2024], and short films ”Dr. Geiger” [2023] and ”Vlucht” [2024].

He's currently working on his 3rd studioalbum after ”Wanderlust” [2016] and ”GLIA” [2022] on Swedish singer Sailor & I's Arvet Records. The latter includes an award-winning videoclip of the track Opulent which won a prize at the Art of Neuroscience competition in 2022.

Besides Arvet, Precursor has credits on labels like OPIA (by Olafur Arnalds) and Just This (by Hunter/Game).
