I remember helping tracklist this set on Tune ID, probably a good 11 or 12 years ago now.  Lots of lively 92 style 'ardcore blasters! Not 100% sure it's Fabio, as all sorts of misl;abeelign was goign on then, but maybe it just is. Either way, colossal set from way back when :)

DJextreme -  1993 Hardcore Jungle [Jungletrain Mix EXT062]

When my friend Vali from @parallaxrecordings asked if I wanted to drop another Yaman Productions tribute mix for @peoples-station I was all over the idea! Last time around I did a tribute to the 1993 crop of mixes, pulling together tracks from that year's selection of mixtapes. This time around I've focused on the 1994 mix sets, taking four tracks from each of the five dj's that featured that year, and running through them sequentially, like this: Micky Finn -> Randall -> DJ Hype -> Peshay -> LTJ Bukem

A super fun selection, and one for all the true heads; this is a great crossover between hardcore and jungle, right as that whole transformation was happening. Enjoy!

'93 Special Pt I

UK hardcore and jungle label started off in 1992 by Pascal & Sponge. Folded at the end of 1994 due to an amicable split of Pascal & Sponge. Pascal went on to run Frontline Records, while Sponge started his own IQ Records label.
I have taken at least one track from every release of this awesome label.
