Synthetic Love is the third track of a four-part journey into synthetic consciousness, where machinery dreams and their heat radiates across dark corridors.
Rooted in hardgroove techno, machined with robotic effects, and shaped by hypnotic textures, the album explores the tension between the organic and the artificial. Metallic tones collide with synthetic warmth, while moments of stillness stretch across scorched sonic landscapes.

Late one October night, a freak accident occurred in Tony’s lab. One slip, a nasty fall, and violent mutation or two later, the man known as @txny-g was no more. In a chemical haze of Jack, ACID TONY was born!

@sorry-records is happy to announce the release of Bushwick based producer Tony G’s ACID TONY EP, a frenzy-inducing collection of cuts for the spookiest of dance floors.

Mastered with love by @mvaughanmusic (@supertuffrecords), the EP kicks off with “Tony’s Acid” on the A side, eleven and a half minutes of club fury built around Mr. Oizo reminiscent synths and a warped sample of label mates and Miami Bass queens @basside-1. Anchoring the EP, “Jaya’s Acid” is a breakneck tour through a Haunted House of Jack, combining bits of soulful RnB vocals with crackling synth oscillations akin to Legowelt. Landing smoother than its takeoff, the EP dismounts with a lush deep house remix by Brooklyn’s great @malikhendricks fresh off his knockout 2018 12”s for @bumpin-somethin-records and @moneycatrecs.

London label @nervoushorizon may be rooted in the capital, but that's never prevented it from showcasing artists, genres and trends from around the world. 

For its latest V/A outing, Nervous Horizon has enlisted new label friends such as @objectblue, Ehua (@ehuamusic) and Chevel (@chevelmusic) alongside mainstays such as DJ Plead (@1djplead) and DJ JM (@deejay_jm) for a neat ten-tracker that delves into the global, hybrid sounds that have become the label's signature over the past few years.

While all tracks are catered towards the dancefloor, no two tracks sound the same. From reggaeton to club delirium to object blue's 'Neo Noir' – a hypnotic techno mutation that echoes the drama and high energy experienced in one of blue's sets – it's a brilliant comp filled with brilliant artists from a label that's only getting better.

Nervous Horizon is very proud to present ‘NH VOL 3’ — the third instalment of the label’s pioneering compilation series.

Featuring a host of new additions to the label family including the likes of Tzusing, object blue, Chevel and Ehua, as well as long-term associates DJ JM and DJ Plead and bosses TSVI and Wallwork, ‘NH VOL 3’ traverses everything from reggaeton to techno, exploring some of the most upfront and abstract club sounds emanating from dance floors all over the world.

Constantly evolving, the tracklist’s shifts in tempo, rhythm and palette are reflective of TSVI and Wallwork’s borderless approach to the club that’s seen them oversee releases ranging from stark, explosive Gqom (Da Soul Boyz) to powerful, game-changing drum tracks (DJ Plead) over the last five years.

‘NH VOL 3' takes this outlook fully global; Chinese producer Tzusing throws out pulsing, peak- time techno on ‘24hr’ with TSVI, Wallwork experiments at 100bpm on ‘Hacienda’ — a track inspired by Lisbon’s Taraxxo club beats — and Italian-Ivorian producer Ehua enchants on the explosive ‘Meteora’.

‘JAC’ is a collaborative release by Shanghai based Gooooose and Berlin based DJ Scotch Egg. After meeting for the first time at Nyege Nyege Festival, Uganda, in 2019, SVBKVLT brought Scotch Egg to Shanghai for a one week studio session with Gooooose in Jan 2020, just a couple of weeks before Covid-19 took hold. The result is JAC, a 6 track release, including a track with vocal samples from Swordman Kitala, recorded by Scotch Egg during his residency at the Nyege villa, plus remixes from Slikback and Seven Orbits & TSVI, with artwork by Andy Rolfes and design by Luke Griffiths. Very dengrouse!!
