Both my brothers climbed your hills
I followed soon behind them
Then our wives joined jacks with jills

Their memory warms me still

Of each special role they filled

Isle Ristol tis the big one
Tanera Mor is bigger still
Mainland mountains stretch before you
When you climb upon its hill
Tanera Beg the smaller brother
Eilean Dubh where seas run deep         
So the big ships safely sail pass
This dark isle,s a bonny lass

Sgeir Revan and Glas Leac Mor  
All those skerries cairns and islets                                     
Welcome neighbours next to shore
They remind me of the folk I've known

A piece written in the quiet and calm of the early hours. Born out of the frustration and anguish of sleep deprivation. This is a slow and pensive piece with many rises and falls. The last fall is, to sleep.
