03 - El Moumna - معلومة بنت الميداح

Fort du succès de ses derniers singles « YA LALALI» et « BOUSTANE JAMIL » Heat Spirit revisite le patrimoine Arabo-Andalous, Malhoun & Gharnaté en y apposant sa touche si particulière.
C’est ainsi, que Heat Spirit met en ligne -le 1 novembre 2014- sur les réseaux sociaux (YouTube, SoundCloud , etc…) la célèbre chanson judéo-maghrébine « Ya bellarej » ; rendue populaire au Maghreb grâce à Jacob Zerad.
Cette chanson propose une superbe mélodie déjà interprétée par de nombreux artistes tels que Cheikha Tetma, Fadila Dziria – voire René Perez et Enrico Macias! Pourtant la version proposée par Heat Spirit apporte une nouvelle saveur. Le groupe s’est parfaitement réapproprié la chanson en veillant à restituer le charme et à respecter l'esprit des mélodies. Car il n’était pas question selon le fondateur/leader de la formation Chouaïb Ben Dagha de prétendre à remplacer l'irremplaçable.
Arrangée par Chouaib et sa douce mais solide guitare rock, spatialisée par les sons du clavier de Ayoub, rythmée par la puissante basse de Mouad et les envolées des percussions de Sohaib, maitrisée par le parfait rythme du batteur Youssef, cette chanson si chère à la chanteuse Soukaina peut enfin sublimée par la voix chaleureuse et angélique de cette dernière.
Tous les ingrédients sont alors présents pour faire voyager les auditeurs et le public le long des rivages du souvenir.

Lyricist, Composer & Singer I was born in 1993, in El Jadida, coastal town an hour and a half south of Casablanca. I have seven siblings and my parents have always loved arts; and shared this love with us. Harvesting red algae to extract Agar Agar to earn a living, they introduced us to nature; our surroundings. Through my link to them, the earth, the ocean and the arts, I met traditional moroccan music: el Aita with bent el Houssine and Mergoum, Songs of Moroccan Jews with Sami Maghribi, el Hassani with Dimi, Meryem Hassan and, el Malhoun with Houssine Toulaly. I, then, met 60's Reggae with Bob Marley and Jazz with Nina Simone and Melody Gardot. I also met Blues ; Jazz and Rock. I write music; world music if I have to name it.
