Greek Producer extraordinaire, Greekboy, returns to Soul Deep with his latest soulful, funky fusion.  Over the last few years, Greekboy has been one of the rising stars in the liquid scene, and this EP further fortifies his spot among the ones to watch.  From the fist track to the last notes, the EP takes the listener on an epic journey.  The EP kicks off with the title track, "Higher", which features heavy Amen style drums, arpeggiated synth lines, epic pads, and a punchy 808 bassline.  The second track, "Murder Dubby", brings the dubwise vibes to life with its heroic horns, echoing guitar chops, slamming Amen drums, massive Dub style bassline.  "Luv U Forever", is up next and brings a more tender vibe with its soft female vocals, prodigious pads, rolling 808 bassline, and lush phasing effects.  The EP is finished off with "Midnight Stroll", which sets an incredible vibe through its lush soundscape.  The song starts off with heavy drums and chirping key sounds, and when the drop hits, the song transitions into a monumental dancefloor anthem.  With its heavy 808 style bassline, haunting synth lines, and lush keyboard embellishments, the track creates a beautiful backdrop for a unique midnight stroll.  This is one impressive EP by Greekoy!!

Just in time for the next Soul Deep vs Smooth N Groove Event, Scott Allen is proud to present the next installment of the Sounds of Soul Deep Mix Series.  However, this is no ordinary mix...  The mix features the precise vocal stylings of the Stamina Resident Emcee, the one and only, Emcee Tell.  The flows on the mix are so pristine, it almost sounds like the songs were produced around the vocals.  Tracks included in the mix are produced by Madcap, Furney, Cosmic Sequence & Leniz, Carter, and Locksmith. Scott Allen Ft. Emcee Tell - Sounds of Soul Deep - Oct. 2018

Konfront.Audio returns to Soul Deep, and this time they have included the talented producer, Ryck, to the mix.  The EP features 3 cuts of lush, Liquid rollers that will light up the night.  The EP kicks off with the soothing, summertime roller, "Sit Back".  The song takes a beautifully recognizable Rhodes Sample and flips it into a soulful D&B anthem.  Up next is the undeniable flavor of "1975", which features lush guitars, chiming Rhodes samples, snappy drums, and a deep sub bassline that undulates underneath the groove.  "Change for the Better", rounds out the EP in style, with its melancholic pianos, chopped up breaks, epic pads, and deep bassline.  Moody rollers at their best!!

Konfront.Audio & Ryck - Sit Back

The stars have aligned with this all star collaboration composition.  Cosmic Sequence & Leniz team up to produce a melodic, hypnotic, and epic soundscape to lose yourself in, while pondering your inner most thoughts.  The EP kicks off with the goose bump inducing track, "City Lights".  The track lifts off with its airy pads, steady snapping drums, Rhodes cords, and soulful vocals.  When the song hits the drop, the Reese style bassline slides in underneath the groove giving the epic track just the right amount of gritty texture.  The second track, "Go Along", is another head nodding journey inwards.  Snappy drums, revolving pads, and swirling efx lead to the first breakdown.  When the drop hits, a soothing voice says, "I love this city....," and the journey begins.  The snappy drums are met with arpeggiated synths, heartfelt strings, and a dirty Reese style bassline that twists and turns underneath the blissful atmospherics.  The third track, "Remininsce," kicks off with melancholic piano cords, a distant synth pad, and a classic break sample that leads into the drop.  A chugging Reese Bassline drops into the groove sending the track to new heights, while soothing the soul.  This is some amazing work by 2 artists that are deserving of all the attention that they will receive from this masterpiece of an EP.  Food for the Soul!!

Soul Deep Exclusives and Avalon Rays are proud to present the new ‘Light On the Horizon EP’.  The Southampton native captures the feeling of the cold winter months and translates it into a perfectly crafted music composition.  The icy cold, “Light On the Horizon”, leads things off with its soft ticking drums, eerie strings, and perfectly wondrous vocals.  “Eclipse”, is up next and pierces the soul with its melancholic piano lines, though provoking vocals, and stripped down bassline.  Next up is the Liquid masterpiece, “Looking In”.  The song balances arpeggiated synth lines and heartfelt piano keys, with a perfectly filtered down Reese style bassline.  The EP also features some Remixes and VIP’s from some Soul Deep regulars, Furney, Low:r, & Scott Allen.  First up, Furney is on remix duties for “Light On the Horizon”.  As you’d expect, Furney takes the more melancholic elements and transforms it into a ripping dancefloor anthem.  Scott Allen also takes on remix duties for “Light On the Horizon”.  Scott takes a deeper approach to the production, incorporating snappy, stuttering drums, bass wobbles, mid bass growls, and tasteful horn blasts.  Low:r, was also brought in to provide his interpretation of “Light On the Horizon”.  He takes the piano melodies and adds his own embellishments to the mix.  He also adds interesting drum patterns, floating pads, and squelching mid bass to the mix.  The EP is rounded out in style with a nice VIP Remix by Scott Allen.  Scott takes the original and adds a little bit his flare to the mix.  The snappy drums, chugging percussion, and wobbling bass, add a subtle difference to the track that is pleasing to the ears.  If you like your Drum & Bass with a deeper edge to it, then this EP should be right up your alley.
