After many successful releases on Soul Deep and Smooth N Groove, and his own imprint, Funkstuff, Funkware has been grinding out quality songs and gaining some much deserved notoriety.  The Forgotten Society EP, is Funkware’s latest batch of tracks that are oozing with funk and begging to be played on the biggest stages worldwide.  “Chances”, kicks things off with it’s huge rolling bassline, chunky Amen break, thumping percussion, and rattling efx.  The title track, “Forgotten Society”, is up next and offers up a rolling dance floor blaster, which features slamming drums, ticking percussion, soulful horns, echoing voices, and a hypnotic chord stab that adds a layer of depth to the tune.  “Happy Meal”, is up next and features funky breaks, clicking percussion, and a groovy slapping bassline.  “So Good”, rounds out the EP with it’s jazzy chord stabs, cymbal heavy chaotic breaks, big 808 bassline, and underlying key stabs.  Funkware definitely lives up to his name, delivering the FUNK flavor for the dancefloor.  Don’t sleep on this one!
