With many successful releases on some of the top labels in the scene including Good Looking, Jazzsticks, C.I.A., Phuzion, V Recordings, Soul Deep, and Smooth N Groove, Furney continues to deliver for his ever-growing fan base.  

The Under Below LP provides more of the signature Furney vibes that people desire.  The album kicks off with the wicked title track, which features chopped up breaks, a melancholic piano sample, expertly Chopped breakbeats, and minimal sub-bassline that fits the groove like a glove.  The other stand-out tracks from the album include the heavy, “Shadow Science,” the soul scorching, “Sensations,” and “Travel In a Day.”  “Travel In a Day,” features the outstanding vocal stylings of the one and only, Lady Emz.  Overall, the Under Below LP provides another glimpse into Furney’s amazing production mind, and provides more proof on why he’s one of the most creative minds in the scene. Omni favourties Binary and Woken Balance team up to bring Omni fans a unique fusion of their sounds with this new EP. Binary starts the beauty with the emotional rollercoaster of 'New Life' where serene guitar melodies serenade the graceful oldskool breaks before Woken Balance takes over to give us a stellar journey of lingering pads, crisp rhythms and expressive vocals. Woken Balance continues with his dreamy and goosebump-inducing remix of Binary's 'Viewpoint', a superb example of taking a remix in a new direction. Binary ends the EP with his take on Woken Balance's 'Tau Ceti', an energetic ride through breakbeats, playful melodies and rapturous arpeggios. The Bristol-based producer returns to Soul Deep with another classic collection of blissful liquid beats.  With previous releases on Intrigue, Lockdown, and Soul Flex, continues to compile an impressive back catalog of tracks that highlights his skills at creating lush dance floor grooves.  The Lost Control EP further proves that his production prowess is only getting stronger over time.  

The release kicks off with the title track, “Lost Control,” with features wavering synth pads, snappy drums, a filtered Reese-sounding baseline, and soulful vocals.  “Reach” is up next and features classic breaks, echoing vocals, deep sub-basslines, and epic pads.  “Too Close” takes over next and is driven by uplifting piano keys, steady drums, Rhodes keys, and a rolling bassline.  To round out the EP, “Without Love,” demonstrates a more stripped down sound with squelchy mid-bass tones, and “Ember River,” which brings a bit of a heavier dancefloor vibe. Philth presents the 24th instalment of the legendary Dispatch Dubplate series. A special release that brings together some of Philth's most in-demand dubs and a host of collaborations with close friends and inspirational artists.

Philth has been working with Bredren for many years and were the only act Philth considered for a remix of "The Teacher" - a stand-out tune from 2020's Moments in Time LP (Part 2). As one of the only remixes the Belgian trio have ever done, this very special tune gets an incredible makeover courtesy of Philth's long-term friends and collaborators, the multi-talented Bredren.

The vinyl-exclusive "Majesty VIP" is a classic techstep, Tramen and Reese reworking cooked up in Craggz' analogue studio - a taster of what to come from the forthcoming Battery & Philth EP on Dispatch.

"Colour Blind" is a true dub from the vaults, written alongside Survival & Script in the early days of their now widely celebrated SCAR project. Having spent five years as a dub and thought never to see a full release, with a brand new mixdown it makes the perfect addition to the Dispatch Dubplate series, aiming to celebrate those lost tracks and exclusive dubs.

Two solo productions complete the release - "The Fear", a tense, dark roller, written By Philth as an attempt to channel anxiety that has been bringing tension to the dancefloor ever since, and "Deja Vu", a track that combines proper live breaks with a simple, progressive bassline that grows and growls throughout.

It’s true that FD can be, and mean, a whole number of things. And he has his friends (let’s call them this for the sake of this piece) to thank for a wealth of fun and exciting possible names he can use. If only he’d thought of this when quite willingly accepting FD as his DJ name, rapidly and untested-ly bestowed upon him in his teenage years. But he didn’t. And so now here we are. And here he is. Floppy Dingbat. 

Luckily for us, it seems he decided to use his ‘Fxxkin Dutty’ pseudonym when he sat down to remix this classic Total Science track. 

‘Kingpin’ first surfaced in 2002 when it headed up the pretty awesome ‘Tuned In’ album and was also given the remix treatment by the legendary Future Cut shortly after. 

Come 2024, it was definitely ready for another update and luckily for us, and for you, FD has delivered a version which has his trademarks stamped all over it - and it’s Fxxkin Dutty.
