The music represents Hobzee’s debut on the imprint, so we’re very pleased about this one!  With previous releases on labels such as Fokuz, Influence, None60, and Repertoire, Hobzee has been an impactful producer in the Liquid Drum & Bass genre.  The EP on Soul Deep shows a side to his work that demonstrates his versatility when it comes to production.  “If I Ever Lose You,” kicks off the release and shows off his ability to create a Jungle-infused drum groove, blended with soaring pads, dreamy keys, soulful vocals, and a big 808-style bassline.  This one’s a heartfelt and head-nodding anthem for sure!  His first effort is followed up by the smooth sounds of “Mine,” which features a shuffling drum break, surrounded by lush piano chords, edgy lead embellishments, soothing vocals, and a bassline that fits the groove like a glove.
