For "The Reformer Mix Vol. 1" we wanted to change it up a bit from our other mixes that are either straight forward, or live recorded in the club. We used two Technics 1200's and recorded a longer mix session, then edited everything down, mixed in live overdubs with turntables, added vocoder melodies, and also a proper amount of shout outs. The idea was to present a highly condensed mix that still has the raw live feeling we love from playing records in the club. With more than 30 tracks in about 55 min we're using some of our favourite cuts, moving through our biggest influences from House, Techno, and Electro, mixing all with a solid base in Hip-Hop.

When DJ Suavesito is behind of turntables and a mixer everything twist around the groove, mixing the roots of Caribbean & African music with Funk, Disco, Brazil, Latin... Now a days DJ Suavesito is investigating really deep about French Antilles and Afro-Portuguese Music (Palop). All of these variety of music and culture are intermingle creating always good vibes. After living in Madrid, London & Ibiza, where he has played in different clubs, restaurants and beach clubs. As the years have gone his knowledge have been widening and opening up to new horizons. Since 2020 his radio show Placas Tectónicas with DJ Congas to develop music and culture trips at Relativa Radio (Madrid) every month.
