En Madrid, una ciudad con una extensa cultura del techno pero donde las v i s i o n e s f e m e n i n a s d e l g é n e r o escasean, Parallax es un antídoto. 
M i e m b r o a c t i v o d e l c o l e c t i v o multidisciplinar Geométrika FM, donde se predica y procura la variedad de los r i t m o s e l e c t r ó n i c o s y e l p o d e r movilizador de la música de baile, Tamara ha sabido añadir a sus sets la frescura de las nuevas vertebraciones del techno. 

Como muchos de los que han crecido en la capital, Tamara se enamoró de la música escuchando rap, electroclash, IDM o electro, así como del poder de cambio social que la música de baile puede generar en el entorno. De ahí su afiliación con Geométrika FM - cuyo lema es “Techno To Change The World”- o su colaboración con otros colectivos municipales vinculados a la cultura de club como “El Despertar de una Ciudad”, evento vecinal que aúna música, arquitectura y otras disciplinas artísticas. 

Después de haber recorrido diversas cabinas madrileñas, en 2018 Parallax pisa una de las mecas del techno español, el festival Mugako (Vitoria- Gasteiz) acaparando la atención del público y comenzando así un recorrido que le llevan a visitar diferentes clubs y eventos como Tupper_ o Draft (Barcelona), Ágora Club (Valencia), Prisma (Sevilla), Jimmy Jazz (Vitoria) o Dantz Festival (San Sebastián), Bau (Gijón) o Mira Festival (Barcelona.

En 2018 se estrena en Geométrika FM editando junto a TR “Breakxit”, un EP con dos temas originales y cuatro remezclas, donde también en el mismo sello, se han publicado diversos remixes a otros artista

En la primera edición de Refractor pudimos contar con uno de los talentos grandes locales: @parallaxglitch

Tras un intenso set de Tadan, la artista madrileña empezó a soltar un repertorio musical sobre las 7 de la mañana, en el que predominaron los breaks, sonidos ácidos y jungle, marcados por el recuerdo de melodías 90s y sintes que protagonizaron la golden rave era.

After an intense set by Tadan, the artist from Madrid began to unleash a musical repertoire around 7am, in which breaks, acid and jungle sounds predominated, marked by the memory of 90s melodies and synths that starred the golden rave era.

Back to Spain after seven weeks abroad and planning to stay three in a row to continue supporting its overwhelming talent. This three-stage mini-tour starts with the long awaited debut of the highly skilled Parallax and the collaboration of our partners in crime at Drone Booking Agency. Big room techno, jungle and rave to conclude the month of August at full capacity.

Parallax (Dj Set)

Soy de Madrid, al comienzo empecé escuchando rap algunos años y me adentre en la electrónica con Prodigy y Chemical y el electroclash para acabar escuchando electro y old school que es lo más parecido al rap que había y el IDM. El Tri Repetae siempre fue un favorito junto con The Other People Place. Empecé comprando discos cuando solo tenía un plato.  Ponía un tema en el ordena y lo mezclaba. Hará unos 10 años de eso.
Más tarde descubrí la esencia de Chicago, del house, del disco y del funk que dio paso a Detroit y luego a Birminghan que es uno de los estilos que más me gustan.
Me encanta el techno clásico y disfruto con el footwork y más reciente con el vapourwave. 
Siempre intento descubrir estilos nuevos, aunque últimamente sobre todo estoy centrada en el techno pese que compre menos discos de los que me gustaría.

Archaic Podcast 57 - Parallax

Marco Passarani is one of Rome’s most influential figures in electronic music, celebrated for his innovation, collaborations, and lasting impact on the scene. Beyond his acclaimed work as a DJ, he has distinguished himself as a producer, distributor with Finalfrontier, and mentor at the Red Bull Music Academy. His rich and eclectic discography includes releases on labels such as Running Back and Peacefrog, while his Tiger & Woods project breathed new energy into boogie and italo. His music has even earned remixes from Ricardo Villalobos and Autechre.

Introducing today a gorgeous mix by Maksym Kovalchuk, better known as Lenski, an Ukrainian DJ originally from Zaporizhzhia and currently based in Wrocław. Active since 2008, he has been refining a signature sound that weaves together house, deep grooves, disco flavors, and hints of jazz. Over the years, he has played at numerous events in his hometown, appeared on RTS.FM (in both the Kharkiv and Kyiv studios), and had his mixes featured across various radio shows and podcasts. As a resident DJ at Pravda Club and a performer at festivals such as Azov Fest, Lenski crafts sets that guide audiences through a distinctive musical journey, merging energy, feeling, and rhythm in every performance.

Pianopoli is a Belgian DJ and producer who has been deeply involved in the electronic music scene since the early 2000s. It’s been some time since we last featured a back-to-back set in our beloved mix series, and episode 167 comes to make up for it. Recorded live earlier this year at Venue MOT during a fundraiser for Medical Aid for Palestinians, the night brought Will Hofbauer and Zaltsman together on the decks, weaving a seamless journey of deep grooves, vibrant rhythms, and euphoric energy. This edition perfectly captures the spirit of the event - a celebration of music, solidarity, and community united for a meaningful cause.

Gooooose – Along The Synthetic River III + II

After the success of the Top 40 track Along the Synthetic River ll, the artist affiliated with Shanghai's pioneering imprint SVBKVLT Han Han, better known as Gooooose, drops the third part, an hour of improvisation in his studio that continues with previous ideas (structural density, GRIDLESS applications, the "humanization" of computer music, Chinese tradition and organology) in the line of futuristic noise and the denial of breakcore's inherent, frenetic ultra-digitality. Maybe we can call it Chinoise.

Along The Synthetic River II is also added as a tribute to lovely moments.
