Restoring balance to our series of earthly compilations, we have Earthly Tapes 04. So far, we've brought to you an array of artists, all with the collective goal of sharing the wonders of musical exploration with no borders.

On this release, we have 7 wonderful artists expressing their creativity across 6 carefully curated tracks with native roots connected to 5 different countries across South America and Europe. In keeping with the series so far, nature and electronica intertwine in synchronicity, creating a space as befitting of heady dance floor groovers as it is to stay-at-home explorations.

The project has been 2 years in the making and has chopped and changed but what has remained is the concept behind it. On this edition, we've curated the work of talented female producers, whose music come from a scene that we feel fortunate to be a part of.

The countdown to the release of this next chapter finds us coinciding fittingly with International Women’s Day; we’re truly blessed to be able to share them with you.

In that moment, I observed as art effortlessly created itself through my soulful vessel, transporting surreal images of visionary worlds onto the canvas of my trusted musical tools...

We are thrilled to unveil our debut EP on the reimagined Art Of Downtempo imprint, featuring two meticulously crafted, introspective compositions by the ingenious sound weaver I’m Mady. Through his artful sonic signature and unparalleled creative vision he delivers an intelligent piece of musical artistry, pushing the boundaries of the genre and redefining the downtempo experience.

Elevating the release further, Milan-based Diereva presents a sublime, slowed-down ethereal masterstroke, seamlessly weaving the original concepts into a timeless continuum of transcendent storytelling.

Premiere: Nada - Find Out (Laaar Remix)

A persisting memory is not stable. It shifts shape, anchoring one moment and dissolving the next, never fixed but always present in some form. Memories resurface uninvited, altered by time and emotion, slipping between clarity and distortion. Familiar images become abstract, details fade while feelings intensify. The linear flow of time folds in on itself, looping and fracturing. What remains is not a clear reflection of the past, but a sensation suspended just beyond reach: elusive, haunting, and quietly insistent.
Endoume is precisely one of those persisting memories.
It reflects the nocturnal Marseille neighborhood with its winding streets and dim streetlights. Its curves and textures recall late-night walks, hills folding into one another, shadows cast by flickering lamps, and the quiet rhythm of a city at rest, captured in memory.

Since the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, the city has held adistinct place in electro culture. Fort the techno scene, post-wall East Berlin was an instant oasis of new places to hold parties and set up clubs. In the 1990s, the techno and trance genres and the Love Parade played a major cultural and political role for the youth of reunified Germany. In the 2000s Berlin became the symbolic modern capital of techno thanks to legendary nightclubs and an international community of musicians, Djs and artist making up almost one tenth of its population.

So wird die deutsche Hauptstadt in der sehenswerten Ausstellung „Expo Electro de Kraftwerk a Daft Punk“ in der Pariser Philharmonie beschrieben. Neben der herausragenden Rolle Berlins werden auch viele weitere Aspekte dieser mittlerweile gereiften Musikkultur audio- visuell dargestellt. Falls ihr zufällig in der Stadt der Liebe seid, lasst euch dieses gelungene Potpourri der Beats und Bässe nicht entgehen. Neben einigen Klassiker der Synthesizer Geschichte, gibt es unter anderem ein Original Flightcase von Jeff Mills, ein 3D Konzert von Kraftwerk oder einen Bühnennachbau eines Daft Punk Videos zu sehen. Das Highlight wird für viele jedoch die spektakuläre Lichtshow zu einem classic Techno Mix von Laurent Garnier sein. Wir werden demnächst einige Bilder zur Ausstellung auf unserer Website hochladen.

Das elektronische Musik mittlerweile auch an Orten der eher klassischen Kultur aufgegriffen wird, zeigt den gewachsenen Stellenwert der einstigen Lagerhallen-Musik. Sie ist zu einem internationalen Phänomen geworden, welches Menschen auf der ganzen Welt in ihren Bann zieht. Wir freuen uns daher heute jemanden präsentieren zu können, der das Genre seit einiger Zeit begleitet und mit seinen Releases entscheidend mitgeprägt hat. Mittlerweile bespielt er die größten Clubs der Welt und lebt diese Kultur. Willkommen bei Deep Stories...Uner!
