Premiere: Emi Galvan, DJ Zombi - Frequency Shift [Songuara]

Introducing our latest EP, a collab between Ykonosh and Mundai. It blends two original tracks with the creative touch of three remixes by Iorie, Unders & Kondo, and Andre P. 
'Lost in Mozambique' and 'Woke up with you' are characterized by deep, sonic landscapes, yet groovy vibes, and draws you in with its evocative melodies, setting the tone for the entire EP. 
The first remix, courtesy of Iorie, adds his unique bounce to the mix, enriched with a distant trumpet motif that lends an extra layer of intrigue to the composition.
Unders & Kondo take the reins with a remix that surprises the listener with expressive vocal samples, seamlessly integrated into a progressive style that keeps the energy flowing.
The third remix, skillfully crafted by Andre P, unfolds at a beautifully slow pace, inviting you to sink into its rich textures and sonic tapestry.

Glenn's tune 'Fernriese' features a prominent, weighty bassline that drives the rhythm forward while it's characterized by an exciting counterplay of two melodic elements, creating a dialogue through the track. 
Sydka's interpretation takes a softer approach, leaded by a more floating atmosphere.

Sound Avenue wraps up a strong spring season by showcasing new interpretations of ‘A Fading Dream' by Madloch & Subnode. Originally released in August of 2023 as the lead piece to the duo's 'A Fading Dream' EP, the deep dubbed-out nine-minute epic was one of depth, character and groove. Fully formed within the creative confines of the duo's Belgian studio, it was yet another chapter in Madloch & Subnode's prolific partnership, one which has succeeded in showcasing their inventive approach to composition, while remaining both club-effective and listener friendly. Moving forward, the duo wrapped up a successful 2023 with the October release of ‘September Day', a concise yet whimsical and wondrously dreamy piece of music which was celebrated for its fluttery drum arrangements and airy sense of space. With 2024 now well into its second quarter, Sound Avenue looks back on ‘A Fading Dream', inviting Figueras, Diego Moreira and Ercos Blanka to re-imagine the track for the summer season.

The debut Vinyl of the germafrican duo LADS, gets a nice twist in form of 3 remixes, coming from the two new debutants Baez and Urmet K, as well as a well formed house retouch of core NWS artist Varaz.

"Cedar" is being re-imagined a second time by another new Estonian artist on NWS, Urmet K. Different to baez, he keeps the ground atmosphere true to the original, while also trying to build a more captivating and hypnotic groove, surrounding the beautiful vocals of Gary himself. Middle-eastern instruments and drums really sell the authenticity of the vocals and bring this remix into the dusty deserts.

Founded in 2011 by Belgian DJ and producer https://soundcloud.com/madloch , Sound Avenue is an electronic music label that stands for quality and originality. Borderless in vision, the Belgian imprint has forged a path to multiple musical dimensions. Blurring the boundaries between house and techno, it’s a platform for anyone with an open mind and ears. Having built early momentum on a global scale, the label hosted events across Europe, North Amercia, Argentina and their home country of Belgium. These uniquely branded club nights featured some of the labels core artists (at the time) including Agustin Basulto, Beat Syndrome, Luis Junior, Matias Vila, Nicolas Rada and Sound Process. Originally intended to be a stand alone platform, as Sound Avenue experienced unprecedented growth its musical horizons expanded, eventually paving the way for two label subsidiaries in 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds. The former drew influence from Sound Avenue’s early beginnings, showcasing the best in melodic house while the latter dove into the realms of deeper, dubby house and laid back modern techno.   

Now over one hundred releases into their journey, Sound Avenue has continued to flourish through precision, care and well thought out A&R choices. It’s this attention to detail that has allowed the label to work with some of electronic music’s most esteemed artists, such as Budakid, Bachir Salloum & Zone+, Charles Webster, Cosmic Cowboys, Eelke Kleijn, Estroe, Facundo Mohrr, James Teej, Kurt Baggaley, Luis Junior, Martin Roth, Pablo Bolivar, Petar Dundov, PHCK, Powel, Santiago Garcia, Stelios Vassiloudis, Superlounge and Tim Engelhardt. 
 
Sound Avenue carefully curates each release to move their vision forward, building a close-knit family of scene veterans, while nurturing new talents such as Agustin Basulto, Giddyhead, Lucefora and Nicolas Rada.
