Life keeps throwing us BS but how are we going to deal with it?

Represented by the Mudra (Indian dance symbol) aarala, which refers to drinking poison, symbolically the song speaks to self sabotage & ego driven behaviour taking the form of anger, drinking and gambling. The video, shot in Sydney and directed by Bou, follows a more positive path & reaction to the chaos life throws us, and is about grounding oneself and dancing away the BS!

When I first heard the original concept, written by J.LBS, MYBOYROACH & BLESSED, I was instantly drawn to the bouncy bass riff and imagined this syncopated latin spin to it. I decided to make my guitars focal & reinvent the music, writing & recording all of the parts in my studio during lockdown. We then reached out to Che Lingo to feature on BS, collaborating over zoom.

We’ve always loved the sound of the early Detroit House scene that crossed over with the Paradise Garage era. Combined with our love for Channel’s voice, it seemed like a perfect fit. His voice has a magical ability to make songs that are made for strutting.
