𝒴𝑜𝓊'𝓇𝑒 𝒢𝑜𝓃𝓃𝒶 𝒩𝑒𝑒𝒹 𝐼𝓉 𝐿𝒶𝓉𝑒𝓇 is the last single from my ℍ𝕒𝕣𝕡𝕒𝕘𝕒𝕟 ℍ𝕠𝕦𝕤𝕖 𝕠𝕟 𝕊𝕒𝕕 ℙ𝕠𝕝𝕜𝕒 album. It's a cleansing rave ritual performed at the wake of a bone-chilling realisation - that what's lost will never be found again.

The single promotes SOUNDQ's new long play 𝓗𝓐𝓡𝓟𝓐𝓖𝓐𝓝 𝓗𝓞𝓤𝓢𝓔 𝓞𝓝 𝓢𝓐𝓓 𝓟𝓞𝓛𝓚𝓐. A palimpsest of an album that kept rewriting itself over the span of five years. It was originally called 𝓢𝓐𝓓 𝓟𝓞𝓛𝓚𝓐 and scheduled to premiere in mid 2020. However, the year which changed everyone's lives wasn't going to make an exception for that album either. I kept adding more songs to the tracklist, while fewer and fewer of the original ones remained. 

𝓗𝓐𝓡𝓟𝓐𝓖𝓐𝓝, the word of Polish highlander folk origin, represents the impulsive and unconstrained nature of the track arrangements, where digital synth sequence spill over thumping drum machines and crawling analog baselines. 𝓢𝓐𝓓 𝓟𝓞𝓛𝓚𝓐 alludes to my melancholic and self-aware style of writing, while underlining my "don't take things at face value" attitude - Polka being the term mistakenly associated with Poland, but a Chech national dance in fact.

𝓗𝓐𝓡𝓟𝓐𝓖𝓐𝓝 𝓗𝓞𝓤𝓢𝓔 𝓞𝓝 𝓢𝓐𝓓 𝓟𝓞𝓛𝓚𝓐 is a 53-minute long vocal-led, indie dance, outsider house journey through Amsterdam, Berlin, and the Greek and Norwegian coasts. But mostly, it's a ride through industrial districts of Cracow is search of abandoned warehouses to dance the nights away in.

World Eaters

"Nieludzie (Ignorance Ha)" is an updated version of the 2019's track that featured on Oramics' Total Solidarity compilation. Now featuring Przemysław Czarnek's (the recently appointed minister of education) infamous dehumanising quote* about the LGBTQ+ community and human rights being drowned out by its doomy stabs. The track's distorted bass and slo-mo deconstruction of ballroom tropes sound even more ominous than ever.

the full sampled quote goes: "Let's defend ourselves from the LGBT ideology. We have to stop listening to this nonsense about some human rights or some equality. These people are not equal to normal people. End of story."

SOUNDQ (short for Soundquake) is the alias of Kuba Kubica - an innovative alternative dance producer-vocalist from Krakow.

Kubica's songwriting delves into the dynamics of interpersonal struggles, the cruelty of fate, power imbalances, and the disorienting experience of living between different worlds. He marries these themes with electronic music that is undeniably distinctive. His music draws inspiration from house, disco, techno, and even contemporary pop, yet it remains entirely singular. It's an underground, infectious, danceable and propulsive sound that offers a brave way forward to those willing to immerse themselves in it.

SOUNDQ tracks have appeared on Disco Halal, Ritter Butzke Records, URSL, Distillery Records, and Wytwórnia Krajowa.
