‘Various Artists Vol. 3’ is meant to celebrate the end of the year while showcasing the best of
what our community has to offer. This compilation is a carefully curated mix of electronic
music that all stays true to PVC's raw, minimal and eclectic sound and ethos of electronic
and sonic experimentations.

Supporting this compilation is a simple but meaningful way to fund and support the
Collective and global creative work around it. You’ll help us take care of the fees associated
to run the label. As well as envision and raise a little budget for further collective activities.

Cold weather have you feeling dry and itchy? We have just the fix here at Allergy Season: 3 tracks from Physical Therapy and Ambivalent aka PTA. After pushing their fast and funky techno sound on labels like The Corner and Wolfskuil, the duo finally make their way home to Allergy Season. On "INK" the pair coat crashing breaks with dubbbbbbed out synths (and have graciously included a "Beatapella" mix for professional Disc Jockeys.) "Cheap Soda" can be best described as "cowbell-driven techno," organic drums clattering beneath warehouse sized synth stabs. Applied liberally these tracks are certain to leave the dancefloor feeling fresh and friction-free!

PTA - INK (Synth Mix)

Mix #037 comes from magnificent California based DJ and producer, Memory Clap Acid.

Hailing from the late 90’s Northern California Rave & Post Hardcore scene. Then later the experimental dance music scene of the Bay Area.  Aldo Giovanni’s involvement in fucked up & sideways electronic music started at the young age of 14 with his obsession of releases by labels DHR, Mille Plateaux, Nothing, & Rephlex. Having then turned the family Compaq Presario PC into his makeshift workstation shortly after digesting all this music. He then found a new interest in Acid House & Techno after attending his 1st Wearhouse party in Oakland Ca, where he witnessed DJ Bone & DJ Dan playing on 3 turntables. Fast forward 22 years later and he’s still making trax reminiscent of that time only a little slower & sludgier with his Memory Clap Acid project.

With releases on Marshall Applewhite’s Junted label out of Detroit & forthcoming releases on Glasgow’s Clan Destine & L.A.’s The Black Lodge.
