Josephine’s Soundscapes is a project comprising sound collages and Dj sets that embrace certain atmospheres of escape and electricity, a collection of random sequences, pensive oscillations, erratic voices drifting across decades (from landscape to living room), nocturnality and a rare, as in slight, intensity. Part of creative cell a_mal_gam_a with deejay Diskoan, spreading its hypnagogic shroud over a number of club nights and special events from its residency at listening club Avalovara. Josephine’s Soundscapes is an experimental incarnation of transversal studio Machines Désirantes Buró, based in Madrid.

The inaugural and first edition of a monthly series of mixes that I’ll be dropping on Soundcloud. 1st edition recorded by myself, and future ones to feature other friends and lovely musical legends. This one I whole heartedly dedicate to LDL, and the ongoing musical inspiration they provide me on a daily basis.  

Hoping this can blow away your blue Monday blues, with some soothing sounds moving into pumpin’ spacey beats, across a variety of BPMs. 

Recorded in the studio on a pair of beaten up CDJs and a well used mixer. Enjoy! xxx

Wouldn't be right to not upload some of the incredible resident sets we had on over the years and this is a really special one from Luke for a few reasons.
Firstly it was the last one he played at Plex before embarking on a ROW trip and secondly it's probably one of the best I have ever heard him play over the many years we were doing parties together. The energy is unreal. 

The fact that it starts with Magneze tells you all you need to know in where this is going to go and somehow he crams in so many floor favourites into this 1hr onslaught that went down in room 2 at around 4am. It is an absolute tear up from start to finish with Luke doing very much Luke things on the decks that night. I don't think I had ever seen him that animated when playing and that is saying something for those that know!

I was very lucky to have Luke as a partner in crime over all those years we were doing Plex and it's a pleasure to share this amazing mix now with you all which was recorded at Plex's 10th Birthday with Bleed hosting room 3, hope you enjoy the ride!
