Sounds From NoWhere is pleased to premiere a Coast2c' gem on 'Gestef Records'.
Coast2c is a DJ, producer from Mexico City. 
She composes and performs electronic music that shifts between techno, acid and drone. 
Her live sets are improvised techno using her modular synthesizer as her main tool. 
As a hardware enthusiast, her approach to music comes from the interest in building a relationship with new configurations in her modular system and music tools.

With grooves stemming from the amazing beaches of Muscat and Zanzibar, and drum sounds influenced heavily by American Hip-Hop and RnB, too the great electronic influences of Berlin and Bristol. The concept of his whole sound is to the merge as many different cultures and emotions. With genres consisting of house, electro, hip-hop, soul, garage, your occasional techno, and finally, rhythm and blues, all coexisting and unifying into one sound. All these key elements have really influenced Jean Jez and the music that comes along with it. Hoping that one day you will appreciate the music as much as he enjoyed making it.

Kuba, for that is his real name, became known on the Polish club scene as a man of good taste and great passion for technical music, functioning as a promoter and booker of the cult Wroclaw venue Transformator. For the past few years, he has also successfully realized himself as a DJ. As part of the podcast for our series, he presented a recording that is clearly characterized by its functional-dance nature. There are a lot of hypnotic, psychedelic motifs here, but the whole carries an uplifting atmosphere of the following tracks following the direction of ecstatic dance. Kastil, aka of the Spanish Mario Castillo, is well known and especially for his role as a producer of furious and intricate techno works with a high industrial influence.
But at 30D we like that our close people (and Kastil is very close, since he is responsible for the mastering of all our label's releases) have absolute freedom to release what they consider appropriate, here is a clear example: Mario leaves aside his usual four-to-the-floor vision to immerse himself -completely on purpose- in classic IDM and the most beautiful, musical and even epic electronica. Only one of the four tracks that conform the EP ('Polymorphic') clearly looks to the dance floor although it shares, along with the three remaining tracks, the artist's passion for the timeless sound of the 90's.
‘QuadroQuill EP’ will be released on 30D Records' sub-label ExoPlanets, in both, vinyl (strictly limited edition) and digital format.
