Twisted & hard-hitting techno from Oxygeno & Francesco Argentieri via Collective Process Vol. 4

Soma Records begins 2022 with Volume 4 of the Collective Process series that links new and upcoming artists to the global scene. Doubling up on this release with two tracks each are Spanish-based Oxygeno & Italian producer Francesco Argentieri.

Oxygeno kicks things off with the dark and brooding Abuse And Violence with its dark and driving sound setting the tone for the EP perfectly. Following it up is Arrogance that delves into deeper territory with unsettling and foreboding synths creating a devastating rhythmic structure. Newcomer Francesco Argentieri opens his Soma account with the rapid-fire Mind Control. Broken Beats and alarm-like synths fire off to great effect. Argentieri closes out the EP with Enemy Is Yourself, a clanking yet hypnotic affair, crafted with precision to destroy dance floors.

Rituals is thrilled to announce the debut EP titled 'Waters of Chaos, from one of the new, exciting talents in the music scene, SOLëM.

SOLëM, based in Los Angeles, has shown an incredible knack for deep, captivating, and visceral productions that align perfectly with Rituals’ ethos. We're proud to support this rising artist and can't wait for the world to experience his work.

The opening track, Invocation, weaves an intriguing narrative filled with lush soundscapes and mesmerizing rhythm. Its haunting melodies envelop listeners, creating a captivating allure that evokes a sense of mystery and anticipation, setting the tone for the EP.

Mist Amongst the Foliage, the second track, is an exploration into the darker, tribal territories of sound. The track is filled with shamanistic percussions and atmospheric synths, evoking imagery of ancient rites performed deep within forests. The echo of primal drums resonates through the eerie quiet, creating a sense of unease that's both hypnotic and beautiful.

Waters of Chaos, the EP's title track, embodies the enigmatic charm of SOLëM's unique sound. This track washes over listeners like a tidal wave of emotion, with its mesmerizing rhythm and pulsating beats that ebb and flow, painting a soundscape of organized pandemonium, a perfect representation of its title.

Finally, the EP closes with the high-energy Secus remix of Waters of Chaos. This remix takes the chaos of the original and transforms it into a driving 4 on the floor anthem, full of dynamic beats and entrancing loops that are guaranteed to fill dance floors.
