Wodawater, a label based in Glasgow, Scotland, presents a mini-album from the label’s founder, TRSSX. The album has gone through many iterations since it began taking shape back in 2017. It hybridises various club-related and experimental music genres, and was inspired by the various scenes TRSSX was a part of in that time (Chicago, New York, Krakow and Glasgow). The album features heavily processed instruments, distortion and noise set against polyrhythmic industrial narratives. Scythe Down the Truth comes out on super limited 16-copy transparent vinyl edition and digitally on the 1st of November. TRSSX is a producer and sound artist based in Glasgow. He runs WODA event series in Krakow, Poland, and Fundamentals in Glasgow. He’s part of the duo Man Fear.

Niclas Erlandsson delivers decent and serious musical work with his new release „Väsen EP“ on ANTIMODUS. Niclas Erlandsson is a live performing techno artist, producer and mastering engineer. His live sets and productions are characterised by electronic experimentation and hours of meticulous preparation. 
With the following release, the Scandinavian brings a mystical sound reminiscent of the past times of the Vikings. The opening track does not come in the classic 4 to the floor robe, the title creates with the brute drum beats and classic acid elements a rhythmic entry into the EP. 
While listening, the imagination of a cold, merciless and raw dystopia is awakened to the listener. Niclas Erlandsson manages to create a lot with few elements and brings a serious industrial sound to ANTIMODUS.

BTS collective is back with the fourth release on their label: ‘Selem’ EP by MERVH. The Turkish-born, Warsaw-based producer makes her debut with a 3 track digital EP backed with remixes from Violent, HATELOVE, and Sekulahr.

The release opens with ‘She Is Gone’ in which haunting vocals that establish an elegiac tone drift over an entrancing beat, up till a cathartic indurstialesque climax. The atmosphere becomes even more dense on „The Death Was Near” where fast and heavy drums meet melancholic yet ecstatic pads, urging for a frantic dance. MERVH downs the tempo again into industrial mode on the final original track ‘Endless Longing’ which finishes off with an epic synth line.

Violent’s cinematic rework of ‘She Is Gone’ continues the sublime atmosphere in a complex yet smooth 8-minute composition that takes the listener on a purgatory journey. Next up, HATELOVE reinterprets ‘The Death Was Near’ into a merciless galloping banger in his signature style. The final remix is Sekulahr’s stepping and atmospheric rendition of ‘Endless Longing’ which eventually turns into trance mode for a grand finale.
