Duality of Self is the first release to see the light on Kombinat, a new London-based label dedicated to emerging artists from the techno and experimental world, offering a diverse range of sounds and styles unified by a consistent, stand-out quality.

Its debut five-track EP comes from rising techno creative, Ireen Amnes - a strong musical background, devotion to analogue machines and a number of cross-genre influences sitting behind her unique sound and style. Here, she takes us on a earnest, powerful journey through the psyche, each track portraying different stages of consciousness and understanding throughout life.

Tangled in White Stripes' gives the feeling of claustrophobia - the frantic frustration of being trapped within ourselves, as if a straitjacket restrains us from liberation - making it a perfect 'let it go' release for the dance floor.

PREMIERE: Hush Hush - Justify My Love [QCK Records]

Come this Friday, the fairly new Parisian techno duo, Mediane will unleash their premiere EP on the well-regarded label, Off Recordings. The release will feature three original recordings along with a couple of remixes including one revision from the label-boss himself, Andre Crom. Alhough, we are here to premiere the original version of that particular remix. 

The aforementioned track has been titled "Spiritual Rave" and it's quite deserving of album title status thanks to a gorgeous melancholic ambience that floats ever so gently on top of a pulverizing kick-drum. A juxtaposed synthesis that will likely launch you into another dimension.
