Adam Beyer’s new EP titled ‘Teach Me’ is an accomplished piece of work that highlights Beyer's year thus far. 'Teach Me' starts with some eerie chords before the distinctive vocal kick in and the track drops into a rumbling techno track. ‘Darlek’ uses rhythmic beeps and huge synth stab to create a funky rhythm before the atmospheric pads create a beautiful setting for this incredible techno track. ‘Stop Talking’ is a deeper offering from Beyer using weird and unusual noises to create and interesting piece of work that is helped along by the throbbing bass underlying in the track. ‘Spaceman’ uses a rhythmic vocal, percussion and sub bass to turn this track into a funky techno piece.

Time is running...and it seems like we just woke up out of our interstellar sleep-mode as we are facing the arrival of the 14th edition of the almighty COCOON RECORDINGS COMPILATION. Starting with the letter "A" we reached "N" meanwhile which probably marks one of the longest running techno compilation series ever around. The list of the featured artists is amazing and almost endless. Big names like Funk D'Void, Alter Ego, Michael Mayer, Steve Bug, DJ Rush, Adam Port, Christian Smith, Nina Kravitz, Henrik Schwarz or Argy can be found here. Not to forget some of the biggest players in the circus like Sven Väth, Anthony Rother, Extrawelt, Timo Mass, Radio Slave or Ricardo Villalobos, DJ Koze, Dubfire and even Berlin's Basic Channel mastermind Moritz Von Oswald.

Foremost international techno outlet Drumcode is delighted to announce the release of its next full-length album, ‘Satellite’, by enduring Italian techno talent Sam Paganini.

Though he has been active since the mid nineties, recent years have been hugely successful for Sam, with searing techno EPs coming on revered labels such as Riche Hawtin’s Plus8, Sven Vath’s Cocoon and of course, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode. In his time he has been responsible for underground hits like ‘Zoe’, ‘Polyester’ and ‘Fire In My Arms’, all of which demonstrate his dynamic understanding of sexy, dark and hypnotic techno grooves and at the same time have earned him plenty of great Beatport chart positions as well as respect from the best in the game.

Incredibly, ‘Satellite’ is Sam’s first full-length album. Informed by his DJ gigs at legendary places like Berghain in Berlin and Cielo in New York, the album starts with a dystopian bit of sonic scene setting, as if a space ship is charging up ready to take off.

From there it’s a case of getting straight down to business. ‘Another Chance’ is a spacey bit of cantering techno and ‘White’ is rooted in devastating kick drums and is riddled with serrated synth lines that build lots of great techno pressure. ‘Down’ is an undulating bit of funky techno complete with choice vocal flourishes and tracks like ‘Lotus’ are prime offerings from the deeper end of the scale.

No two tracks sound the same on Satellite: Sam is always teasing out a new bit of texture, nailing a slightly different vibe or exploring different amounts of light and dark throughout the course of this most excellent album. This is evidenced by diverse cuts like ‘Dusty’, ‘Toxic’ and ‘Rave’.

Despite ‘Satellite’ being Sam’s debut album, it showcases his seductive style in all its glory across 12 fantastic tracks that will leave you begging for more.

<p>This alliance of Massimo Cassine and Proudly People pumps out some serious heads-down business and the title track gets us in a dubby mood with lazy chord stabs, mangled vocal action and quirky effects. Label boss Ramon Tapia set out to also dub things out even more, going for a cavernous approach which is heavily supported by a locomotive rhythm section.<br />
 The EP closes with &#8220;Debil&#8221; with its very sticky bassline and organic sounding drum set. Of course, more heavily processed vocals are in order and haunting synths make their appearance around the breakdown.</p>

Today's release sees Giorgio Gigli (Prologue Music, Zooloft, Electric Deluxe, Elettronica Romana, etc.) sign two original tracks and a remix of one of the most important artists of the past few years: Terence Fixmer (Electric Deluxe, Prologue Music, etc.). Together, their approach creates something special and unique. In its original track Giorgio Gigli delivers the best of its hypnotic and psychedelic techno. A great atmosphere, where the ambient pads meet the dark bass sound which made Giorgio one of the most significant artists in the new techno scene. The side closes with an ambient session; a drone of pure electronic,dark synth, making the idea of the state of mind of his own individual unconscious.Terence Fixmer's version is decidedly more rough, stripped of certain atmospheres, highlighting a more hypnotic and repetitive attitude. This rough sounds have for many years marked Terence Fixmer as an icon of the techno world. 
This is a great release of modern techno!

Ahmet Sendil could very well be the Jimi Hendrix of our scene; you can tell his tracks from the first second they kick in. This release for 1605 is no exception, and shows Ahmet at the top of the mountain, looking down in style.
"You So Strong" cleverly uses a haunting vocal to set the mood, and persistent percussion provides powerful thrust. Euphoric assistance comes in the form of rises that propel everything to the next level.
