D:RC came up DJing (mostly drum'nbass) in the mid-90s while attending the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga. As founding member of the local Phungus, Playtheavy and Sleuth Empire crews he found himself at the center of a burgeoning rave scene, collaborating with friends on dance music events in the Athens/Atlanta areas and beyond.

In 2004 he founded Studio:Machina, a graphic design practice geared towards the music industry. Building on his behind the scenes expertise and keen artistic instincts he's become an in-demand contributor on artistic projects in a variety of media. He's toured the US as member of the Smookie Illson bass music trio, serves as creative director for the Chicago-based Illeven:Eleven Recordings label and functions as brand/art director of several nightlife concepts. 

Behind the decks he currently heavily favors the sounds of DNB, but brief forays into breakbeat, house, UK Garage + Bass and dubstep are not uncommon. Get to know.

Colin Pierce is a 26 yr veteran DJ hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, USA, where he became highly and widely respected for his skills and integrity. 

“A musical journey”
Colin is a lifetime music junky. He is the first human to be born with headphones already on! Seriously though, since 6 years of age he has been actively seeking, collecting, and enjoying, music, and that was in 1983, so you do the math! Colin had 2 bands in high school, and wrote all or much of the music for them. He started mixing records in 1998 shortly after his first rave party, and hasn't stopped, always continuing to refine his formidable technical skills and dynamic range, and always working to pursue improvement. 

Colin is going on a decade clean and sober, as of 2024, and does not play gigs often anymore, focusing on discovering God's purpose. He does it strictly for the love at this point, for the communication, the merging of minds. Having retired mostly from live performances, he is now working on refining the art of mixing, which was the first love: long mixing tracks so that they really dance together and form something new and compelling. Exploring key mixing and perfecting the seamless mix is the new fascination, as well as a rediscovered passion and appreciation for liquid drum and bass. Soulful drum & bass stalwart Fluid Form is a producer and deejay hailing from in the panhandle of Florida in the USA. Heavily influenced by the atmospheric, jazzy, funky, soulful and deep side of dnb, he draws inspiration from past, present and future soundscapes. Fluid Form crafts his compositions from a unique pallate of samples, sonic layers, and atmospheric textures, blending the old school and the new school sounds with crisp drum breaks and smooth rolling basslines.

A true underground souldier and grafter, Fluid Form has been quietly building a reputable back catalog over the years and his name has been appearing with increased regularity on the dnb circuit. Climbing through the ranks and continuing to hone his production skills, he has established himself on some of the scenes freshest labels/imprints and is collaborating with some of the underground’s most revered artists.

Fluid Form continues to gain global support through his original works, his bootlegs, and his collaborations and is releasing alongside many of the same artists, DJs and labels who have inspired him over the years.
