Cream & GaryW. reflect on the inaugural class of Get Down University. GDU is an 8-week online business, marketing course for DJs that gets into the intricacies of the nightlife industry & helps DJs grow their business; book more gigs and turns their passion into a profession. 

The guys share some success stories from their members experiences over the 8 weeks & how they’ve already implemented aspects from the course that have positively impacted their DJ business. 

The conversation then focuses on how & why they moved down the path of mentoring & coaching younger DJs on the come up. 

Lastly, Cream & Gary talk about what makes for good customer experience and how we can as DJs create a memorable, long lasting impression on our patrons.

The guys then get into the ever so daunting topic of raising your rates. 

Finally, where does your musical inspiration come from? Gary talks about a recent trip to a Jazz bar among other odd places he's been inspired by music that is outside of the DJ realm.
