The first remix is made by a talented Sri Lankan producer, Dimuth K, who's making his debut on the label. He cooked a lovely deep progressive track with an euphoric melody that will surely catch you. SOE110 Circle Of Life - Dominacija (Juan Deminicis, Marcelo Dalessandro Remix)

Deersky’s Soundteller Records continues a strong fourth quarter by showcasing new interpretations of ‘Disorder’ by Juan Deminicis. Released on the label in May of this year it saw the Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J favourite crafting a deep and hypnotic progressive house cut, with remixes being turned in by two of the genre’s top stars in Andrea Cassino and Matias Chilano. Now as the year winds to a close Soundteller revisits the track with new interpretations form Subandrio and Hole Box.

Returning to the label and providing the first interpretation of ‘Disorder’ is Subandrio. Having first appeared on the Polish imprint in February of 2016, the Sri Lankan artist also lays claim to releases on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music and Cid Inc’s Replug Records. Now providing his sixth remix for Soundteller, the Colombo resident opts for a more peak time interpretation, resulting in a great complement to the original. The darker shades and tones remain but with electric lines and crunchy rhythms, the message is conveyed in a more profound manner. Quirky hooks and waves of mind bending effects make for a massive first act, before eventually stripping down for a musically inspired break and huge crescendo. Another massive remix from Subandrio.

The release concludes with Hole Box returning to the label for the second and final interpretation of ‘Disorder’. The Mexican artist debuted on the label in April of this year with his ‘Alone’ EP while also notching releases on Dear Deer, Massive Harmony and Stripped Recordings. Now providing his first remix for Soundteller Hole Box takes ‘Disorder’ into deeper territory. A warm, reshaped groove adds more of a fluid vibe while exotic drums and dubbed out tones fill in the framework. A tranquil arp makes for a smooth hypnotic feel but it’s percussive strength keeps the narrative quite lively. Perhaps the most poignant moment comes as glowing pads descend over the framework, transferring energy into the break before smooth chord changes initiate a purring finale. A lovely complement to both the original and Subandrio’s interpretation, making for a brilliant remix edition for Juan Deminicis’ ‘Disorder’ and Soundteller Records.

Featuring exciting new and upcoming talent alongside some well established names, the album has been compiled and mixed by Gustin – a vital member of the onedotsixtwo A&R and management team, and a highly-respected veteran DJ and selector with over 25 years experience playing across the globe.
 
Following on from Tripswitch’s 2017 label launching mix compilation ‘In At The Deep End’ (ODST0001), the time is now perfect for a second V/A release. With so much amazing talent to work with, Gustin has utilised his immense experience to source an exceptional collection of tracks from around the world, including uniquely creative production talent from Argentina, India, Belarus, Estonia, USA and UK.
 
Having spent the past year curating exclusive tracks for ‘Synchronicity’, Gustin finally settled down in the studio to create his stunning DJ mix, a creative process exhibiting perfect selection and timing to build a musical experience that embodies depth, colour and texture, wrapped with contemplation, hypnotic beauty, energy and euphoria.  
 
From Brandon Lee’s opening ‘Free Minds’, a beautifully subdued groover of a track with an enticing snake-charming flute melody, Bangalore-based Weird Sounding Dude’s ‘Hugel’ eases gently into the mix with it’s soaring vocal interludes and euphoric keys. The Argentine duo, Oliver & Tom, have been in high demand recently with releases on some key labels, and its not hard to understand why as ‘True Level’ picks up the pace perfectly with its sparkling production, sublime melodies and infectious groove. 
 
Fellow Argentine producer, Gabriel Amato, further stokes the fire and moves the mix direction towards peak time progressive territory with ‘Starship’, its rolling bassline, hypnotic soaring lead and expertly crafted FX building to an epic breakdown par excellence. Continuing to build the energy levels, the high-flying percussive beauty of ‘Gaspra’, courtesy of the collaborative pairing of New York’s Dysco with Argentina’s Juan Ibanez, meets Michael A’s tantalizing ‘See Yourself’, and the Belarusian electronic artist’s masterful, distinctive melodic atmospherics are always a joy to behold.
 
The spiky, scene setting, contemplative flow of ‘Cloud Atlas’ from Texan producer Kaspar Tasane is perfectly placed to introduce Rodrigo Deem’s pumped-up ‘Panorama’, before another super-talented Argentine producer, the inimitable Partenaire, makes a welcome return to onedotsixtwo with his latest exquisite masterpiece, ‘Warmth’. 
 
We stay in that creative hotbed country as Berni Turletti & Agustin Lupidi combine to create ‘Suyai’, a soaring symphony of synth magnificence that builds towards the album’s peak. The ascent is dramatically furthered courtesy of VINU, a multi-cultural, classically trained violinist and multi-instrumentalist residing in West Palm Beach, Florida, whose penultimate, breath-taking ‘Melodic Sunrise’ masterpiece cruises into the album’s spine-tingling finale, ‘Alive’, a heart-wrenchingly beautiful creation courtesy of Martin Gardoqui, Matias Larrosa and Mario Puccio.'

The latest release from Clubsonica Records welcomes Gux Jimenez back to the label for a new EP. Upon making his label debut in February of 2019 with a remix of Moveme's ‘Traumtanz', the Colombian artist then went on to release his first artist EP for Clubsonica in March. The year yielded many other successes, with outings for Balkan Connection, Droid9, Juicebox Music, Soundteller Records and UV being the most notable. Now presenting his first project of 2020, the Cartagena resident returns to Clubsonica with ‘El Inicio | El Fin' alongside remixes from Kamilo Sanclemente, Juan Pablo Torrez & Dabeat and Giovanny Aparicio.

Beginning with ‘El Inicio', Gux sets the tone of the EP with a storyboard of pulsating grooves and euphoric motifs. Anchored by a warm, redolent foundation and waves of fragmented melodies, it's an evolving atmospheric narrative which first captures your imagination. Haunting vocal choirs and trance inducing arps add perfectly to its exhilarating nature, before eventually melting down into a charming break and perfectly setting up an energetic finale. The companion piece ‘El Fin' follows suit with charged beats, rolling rhythms and joyous melodic concepts. Built around a series of tantalizing, trance inspired arps, the first act is well fashioned for peak time play. Stripping down into the main break, poignant chord changes add further fuel to its emotive core, before an unabashedly epic build sends the energy into overdrive.

The first interpretation of ‘El Fin' is provided by Kamilo Sanclemente, Juan Pablo Torrez & Dabeat. Operating from the heart of Colombia's electronic music scene, this trio of artists have collectively showcased their music on Nick Warren's Hope Recordings, Beatfreak, Parquet Recordings and UV. Beloved as their country's foremost progressive music talents, Kamilo, Juan and Dabeat now unite for a special collaborative remix of ‘El Fin'. Fluid and groovy in equal measure, its perfectly contoured foundation moves with a powerful yet buoyant drive. Fresh design qualities make for a commanding rhythm core, while pensive atmospheres add anticipatory vibes leading into the break. Processed vocals and striking tones make for a hugely impactful centrepiece, as mind bending modulation fully saturates your senses leading into a classy drop and ominous finale.

Rounding out the release and providing the second and final interpretation of ‘El Fin' is Giovanny Aparicio. Having made his Clubsonica debut in December of 2019 with a remix of Jan Dalvik's 'Mahat', the Colombian artist also released several well received collaborations with fellow countryman Kamilo Sanclemente earlier in the year. Now making a welcome return to Clubsonica, Giovanny provides a stunning rendition of ‘El Fin'. The groove gets reworked with great warmth and flow, while a complement of clattering drums, hypnotic arps and misty effects fill in the framework. Musically less pronounced, the Cali resident opts for a meditative yet powerful approach, building tension subtly across the main break though timely modulation, before smoothly segueing into a purring finale.

It caps off another impressive collection of music from Clubsonica and a welcome return to the label for one of Colombia's fastest rising stars Gux Jimenez.
