Very nice interview! Informative on sampling & recording!

Having now listened to both versions of Don't miss, The Bloody Beetroots version is stronger. One of the wonders of the remix (some of the time anyway). Which of course adds some interest into the interview.

Discovering Neon is a techno, deep house experiment.  The ever-present bass line is a delve into sound design while the entire song expands on several different synth voices.  The over arching theme is exploration chock full of sciencey goodness.

The Qatar area traces its social origins to the Paleolithic, with the Canaanites being its first known settlers. Like many other countries and all those around it, it has undergone various cultural transformations.
This work begins with the advent of Islam, around the 7th century of our era, in which starting from Ottoman-style musical sequences, we end with current melodies and harmonies, but always trying to preserve the oriental flavor of the area that is reminiscent of literature classical arabic.

El área de Qatar tiene sus orígenes sociales en el paleolítico, siendo los cananeos sus primeros pobladores conocidos. Como muchos otros países y todos los de su entorno, ha experimentado diversas transformaciones culturales.
Esta obra comienza con el advenimiento del Islam, alrededor del siglo VII de nuestra era, en la que partiendo de secuencias musicales de estilo Otomano, finalizamos con melodías y armonías actuales, pero siempre intentando conservar el sabor oriental de la zona que recuerde a la literatura árabe clásica.
