This lil track was an exercise in drum programming. Found sounds, sequenced into a complex changing rhythm... and some synth for contrast. I think I want to do more beats like this...

Who Knows...

When I first heard of LPGs, I decided to try and make a track using no VCAs and only filters to remove sound. The result was this dark moody hypnotic groove. Watch your speakers!

VCAless

This was when I finally got an envelope that did the Wasp filter justice. Acidic, bubbly, exciting. Love that squelchy sound...

Alkaline

This track is a compilation of two pieces. These were the first sketches I made in Ableton Live back in the mid 00s. Not my finest mixing, but I was not as skilled. Let’s just call it “lofi”. 😂

Barbara/Spooky

This little ditty was an exercise in modular drumming and gathering modular samples. All sounds built on my modular synth and performed live. I don't remember making it, so maybe the elves are responsible. :)
