Our 39th guest mix episode comes from SL Small, otherwise known under the Drum & Bass alias Vandermou. Born in Seville (Spain), this producer began to enter on the world of broken rhythms at a very young age. His first contacts were at raves in the area back in 2007 where he fell in love with the style and decided to form his first group called Diversity. A group with which, for several years, he produced several re-rubs recognized by the public, performed in some venues in the capital and shared a line up with international artists such as Rennie Pilgrem and Atomic Hooligan.

After making a name for himself on the national Drum & Bass scene since 2014, he decided in 2018 to restart his career in the style that he is most passionate about and started the SL Small project, debuting with General Midi at Sala Prisma and performing in Bristol (Southside Breaks and Wharf Recordings) sharing line up with ED209 and Borai.

Thanks to his years on the scene, you can find songs from 2007 onwards in his sets, focusing on tech break, electro break and psy break sounds. In 2022 his first own track came out on the English record label Wharf Recordings and at the beginning of 2023 he released his first EP on Creative Sound Records, managing to sneak TOP 28 of the TOP 100 Beatport Breakbeat New Releases.

Cofundador de Nebula y miembro de Pyramid Music.

Este joven DJ procedente de la Sierra de Cádiz (actualmente reside en Granada), es un apasionado de los ritmos rotos que comenzó a interesarse por el mundo del DJ a los 17 años.

Su estilo siempre está en constante progresión, dónde cada día intenta depurar más su técnica creando sets muy progresivos y medidos.

Se mueve entre los ritmos Funk, Tech, Acid, Electro y Hardcore Breaks abarcando el sonido digital y vinilo, desde los bajos más contundente hasta los ritmos más old school.

Ignacio Lechuga AKA Lexx es un amante de los ritmos rotos; profundizando sus conocimientos en el Breakbeat y Drum & Bass desde 2015 con sus primeras fiestas breakbeat.
 

Su principal gusto musical dentro del breakbeat es el nu skool, tear out, bassline, 2step y sonidos oscuros y contundentes cargados de baterías y cajas fuertes.

Dj/Productor de Sevilla (España). Desde muy pequeño empezó a sentirse atraido por la música electrónica observando a su tío, Interagent (Berlín), mezclar sus vinilos.

Su primera experiencia fué con el grupo Diversity en 2010 dedicado al sonido Breakbeat. Tras varios años de evolución y aprendizaje decide dedicarse en exclusiva al genero Drum & Bass, creando en 2014 la promotora Jack The Ripper Events, con la que lleva más de 8 años trayendo artistas de primer nivel a su ciudad, y formando el grupo Aimlessly Team.

Pero es en Mayo de 2016 cuando decide iniciar su carrera en solitario bajo el nombre de Vandermou. 

Desde esa fecha hasta la actualidad, ha conseguido hacerse un hueco en la escena de la ciudad, actuando en la gran mayoría de clubs y grandes eventos del estilo (Dub Elements & Friends). Eso le ha dado oportunidad para actuar también en otras ciudades españolas (Barcelona, Malaga, Granada, Jaen, Cadiz, Huelva y Córdoba) y en paises como Croacia (Outlook Festival 2016 y 2017) y Reino Unido.

Sus sets destacan por la rapidez y contundencia, pudiendo escuchar la gran mayoría de los estilos de Neurofunk.

En cuanto a producción, busca esa misma variedad creando tracks de estilos Neurofunk y Deep. En Junio de 2017 sacó su primer EP a la venta por el sello Nagual Recordings y actualmente cuenta con otras referencias en sellos como FMR, Black Monsta Records, Histeria Records, Nu Error Audio, Wild Ravers Records, Melting Pot Records, Gutting Audio, Suspect Device Music, Wharf Recordings, Drumad y Space Pirate Recordings.

En Marzo de 2020 creó su último proyecto, Gutting Audio. Un nuevo sello discográfico dedicado a los sonidos neurofunk.
