It Stays With Me is a dark, emotional electronic drum and bass track about carrying a constant inner weight while continuing with everyday life. The song explores the contrast between functioning on the outside and being pulled back by the same thoughts and feelings that never fully leave.

The lyrics are intentionally minimal and repetitive, not meant to tell a story but to reflect how pain loops in the mind. The voice is used as texture and rhythm rather than traditional singing, leaving space for the listener to project their own experience into the track.

This is not a song about resolution or healing, but about endurance and presence. It captures the feeling of moving forward while something inside stays close, persistent, and unresolved.
