Lumen Labs Flow Jam [Berkeley, 08.21.21]

This track fuses a deep dub bass groove,  the oud weaves a bluesy soulful riff throughout. Didgeridoos and ethereal chants punctuate the soundscape creating atmospheric breaks, and towards the end, a delicate ukulele melody emerges, adding warmth and light. Soft female harmonies float above it all, giving the track an airy, immersive vibe—perfect for moments of introspection, movement, or pure sonic escape.

A truly epic night to say the least! An amazing crowd and incredible vibes. The only thing I prepared for this show were a collection of sequences and drum patterns from my sequencer. All voices, drum kits, modular patches, effects, etc were all created on the spot.

Transporting us to vibrant new depths in the ever-expanding world of psychedelic music, Shanti Planti’s mind-bending “Rhythm Code III” is a chimerical and mesmerizing exploration of dream, memory and the influence of sensation upon the mind.
