There are many different ways that the biosphere affects climate. Some produce greenhouse gases and promote warming of our planet through the greenhouse effect, while others reduce the amount of greenhouse gases promoting cooling of our planet. Thereby, by trapping heat, greenhouse gases contribute to our planet's warming and the biosphere provides the necessary environmental conditions for survival. And of course, Biosphere is the moniker of one Geir Janssen, who has been a constant influence on ambient music throughout his career. The Biosphere (From Space to Earth)

The warmth and humanity of dub meets the cold & accurate impulses of techno. This mixture of deep techno, fast dub techno and deep house is an example of the power of spatiality. Elements in the mix both have ethereal space along warm woven textures. An architectural, structural, and musical soothing journey. Starting with a dub techno track that samples the movie Blade runner (1982). Put your seatbelt on as this mix will kick upwards 144 BPM!

Discovering @adelia_adelia a few years ago was pretty mind-blowing to us. How have we missed this distinctive Czech dj listed as one of 55 female artists involved in the hypnotic techno scene by @mnmt.no ? Perhaps it's because it's been three years since Adelia moved from Prague to Barcelona to follow techno producer Massa, her soulmate, both in music and life. Since then, she has been pursuing her career from Spain, creating music for renowned podcasts such as Oslated,  Bahn, Prior Act, Further Sessions, and many more. Most recently, she also did an exclusive mix for our friends from Base Collective.

Adelia is also getting involved in event production. In 2022 she’s been in charge of booking of the premiere edition of Barcelona's Mostra festival. It's been a success and something to keep your eye on for the next spring! To catch Adelia herself, you don't have to wait till the next year as she will be in Prague in December. We will make sure that you can enjoy her sounds to the fullest.

French producer and multi-disciplinary artist ANGEL provides a new subtle, elegant dub techno mix featuring an eclectic selection of dub and ambient techno artists. A former music promoter who resided at different corners of the planet (Bali, Tokyo, London where she lived 7 years, Paris, and now Berlin), ANGEL began producing music in 2016. Having shifted her focus on fine tuning her productions recently, ANGEL released a well-received ambient single (Coincidence/ Ambivalence) in 2021 and over the summer 2022 a new dub techno EP on Stuttgart label and art collective AMAS. The French artist also produced a few radio shows on Dublab and is a regular contributor to MAGNETIC magazine and paints when she has some time left. Enjoy the mix!

Real name Kerstin Saidykhan.
Grown up in a small town in Western Germany, I was a music nerd from my teenage times. I experienced a lot of different electronic types and styles, what shaped my personallity my whole life, beginning from the 8oies with Postpunk, Dark Wave, EBM and then develloped further with Ska, Reggae, Jungle, Drum 'n Bass and Techno. Dancehall and the Jamaician Soundsystem Culture had also a big influence to me, after visiting Jamaica for two times at the end oft he 90ies. Especially the ruff and heavy basslines of Dub and Raggamuffin had a big imprint on me. I stayed close to the German Reggea scene from the middle of the nineties for many years.And then finally moved to Berlin 2001. It was still the time of small and illegal clubs and improvised venues. In that scene, I had the opportunitiy to try myself as a DJ for a certain time.
After many years, I started mixing music again during the covid pandemic time.

Artificial intelligence, a sublabel of Warp.

The best of Warp records and ambient-techno from 1991 to 1998. In 1992, Warp records released the highly influential compilation Artificial intelligence that was 25 years ago. I made this mix of my favorite Warp tracks but also some other tracks released on similar influential labels at the same time such as GPR (General production recordings), Rising high records and Apollo. 1991 to 1995 was for me the best era of electronic music. Enjoy!

Artificial intelligence

Imagining the journey of a Blade runner, a skin job, in Los Angeles circa 2019 and using Vangelis covers and mainly tracks inspired by the soundtrack, I created an imaginary journey of Rick Deckard strolliing in LA 2019. Sound bytes from the sectors of Blade runner, tracks and samples from the movie were used. It’s a trip into the words of the LAPD, Bryant, Gaff, Deckard, Dick’s universe, product placement and obviously, an hommage to Vangelis…All those moments will hopefully not be lost in time...
