The mastermind behind the first mix is none other than Rødhåd, delivering a powerful 3-deck, vinyl-only set recorded back in 2005 - a rare treasure from one of the greatest DJs, producers, and label owners of our time.

The French techno and IDM producer shares a “fluid, open and evolving” mix

Fergus Sweetland is a Melbourne-born, London-based artist known for his wonky, wobbly, and rhythm-driven take on contemporary techno. Blending texture, atmosphere, and groove, his music crafts immersive narratives that tap into instinct and emotion. His DJ sets echo the same spirit—dynamic, playful, and always evolving.

A core member of the Hayes Collective, Fergus has released on respected labels such as Illegal Alien, NRBK, Connection Verified, and his own imprint, Pressure Systems. The label reflects his belief that sound is pressure, and music is its system—a platform for total creative freedom and raw self-expression.

This mix was recorded in July 2025 at The Glove That Fits as the closing set for Fossil Archive. The concept was to present an album in the context of a DJ set - something I’d been wanting to explore for a while. For this first attempt, I chose Spread by Heiko Laux. Heiko is like an older brother to me, so it felt special to honour his work in this way. You could say it was a Heiko Laux night.

In this mix, mojo takes you on a journey through a carefully curated selection of progressive trance and deep, hypnotic techno, with a touch of tribal, dub and ethereal elements. 
 
The overall mix is driving, just at the right tempo and lowend focused, with, organic sounddesign washed-out pads and drones setting a mystical mood.  Recorded with a rotary mixer, this mix enables long transitions and a highly dynamic mix overall.
 
This one is for the Trancer, for the forest, in the early hours at festivals deeply inspired by Waking Life and Minimal Collective’s afters at ISO Amsterdam.

One of techno’s true underground heroes, Function steps in with a mix that captures the essence of his club sound: deep, dark, hypnotic and intensely layered. Cerebral yet physical, this set distills over 30 years of experience into a rolling trip that’s as uncompromising as it is immersive.

Recorded in Berlin with a Xone 96, with Function’s signature sound design woven throughout, the mix bridges heavyweight classics and future-shaping material. Kicking off with Nastia Reigel’s massive new remix of his own Disaffected, it showcases three tracks from her upcoming debut album Identity (out September 26 on Infrastructure).

The selection runs wide: from Regis, Rødhâd, LSD, Nørbak, Nastia Reigel, Ignez, Rene Wise, Silent Servant, Alarico and UFO95 to unreleased gems by Filippo Scorcucchi - alongside Function’s own productions, edits and textures. Hailing from Santiago de Chile, eclectic talent Marcelo Antonio is a formidable voice for deep, mind-bending techno. Since 2018 the DJ/Producer has been putting out a growing number of releases on labels like Float, Keyhole, Methodical, Antiterra, EVOD Music, and delivered killer sets across his native Chile and Europe, honing a class of sound that’s full-bodied, deep and geared for marathon raves. His self-published work via Bandcamp-only outlet Out of Sight too, offers a further glimpse into his intimate studio workings: high-concept and movement driven tracks that foment rhythmic contemplation. His frequent collaborators include widely recognised industry staples like Kwartz, DVS1, Kr!z, Ruben Ganev, TWR72, Border One, Biri and Samuli Kempi, a sounding board comprised of peers that share in his passion for primal loops. It’s an elegant techno that layers up textures and builds up tension second by second, and steers its bow towards a distant and euphoric horizon.
