Spark are a Berlin based electronic - acoustic duo consisting of far travelled multi instrumentalist Badram (originally from NYC) and DJ Shazam, who also plays instruments.
Mostly they feel inspired by music & culture further east than the Balkans and more south than the alps. In fact, they can go off in many directions if they dig a groove or a melody.
In many cases they will combine it with a heavy bassline and some dubby sounds, strong beats and whatever fits into their frame of taste, but not the hype of the hour .
They have been known to remix other artists as well as producing their own tunes. At their rare live performances you might find em joined by befriended artists swimming similar waters and often also by VJ Podinski of XLt fame.
