Right when you thought the 80's had been mostly dug out, the "Night City Life" compilation hits the shelves. 
Ever since we heard his compilation for Spacetalk we were blown away: one of the best curations of early MIDI dancefloor/radio oriented productions we'd heard in a while. Truly refreshing to the human ear, not to mention the heavy research behind it. As such, we've wanted to book Ilan ever since but then COVID happened. Still a wet dream to see him do his thing live but for now here's this amazing bit of aural goodness to get you in the right mindset. 

Ilan is a London-based record collector. He can often be found posting the artwork of 80s vinyl from his collection on Instagram; a patchwork of nostalgia from musical days gone by.

We welcome you our third contribution to our mix series by New York's very own- Lloyd (@enterthelloyd).  Lloyd has been a favorite here at Homage and just about everywhere. He can be seen playing in various clubs and spaces in New York such as Magick City, Good Room, Public Records, and can be heard regularly on The Lot Radio. His music taste ranges from..… well…. everything you can think of. Lloyd plays it all and is a perennial wild card! We were able to meet up with him during our trip to New York and got the opportunity to ask a few questions about his musical roots, influences, and DJ’ing.

Mixing italo-disco, salsa, French pop, and jazz with house and disco to create energetic sets that resonate with diverse audiences. She organizes and directs Cha Cha Mambo, a party held at Itaewon’s Nyapi Club, where she introduces fresh musical direction to the local scene. At Cha Cha Mambo, Jeepsooni highlights emerging DJs, showcasing unique sounds that differ from mainstream trends, with an emphasis on high-energy disco. 

Her online mixes have featured on platforms like Sound Metaphors, Mothball FM, Headphone Magic, and Studio Namsan, have received widespread acclaim. 


Known for her unique selections and adaptable style, Jeepsooni is quickly establishing herself as a standout DJ in Seoul’s music landscape.
