The Metalheadz back catalogue features almost every major figure in the history of drum and bass, and is one of the most innovative labels out there, consistently crossing boundaries with its releases since 1994. The labels output continues to showcase a maturing genre of music that displays influences from reggae, hip-hop, house and techno with highly-sophisticated and intricately-produced tracks, contrary to the image of the music that is typically presented by the mass media.

Born and raised in California. Sense a child hes been musically inclined coming from a back round of heavy metal and hip hop this young man has progressed into the art of urban metal hip hop clash we call today as drum and bass and fell in love with the dark style of this music regularly a hip hop EMCEE from the age or 14 hes grown quiet adapt to many style of rhymes from jungle to hip hop to screaming his head off in metal bands. and producing music as far back as 16 now sets his music to bring the bass or bring the emotions to the music he is making it always of course EMCEE friendly. SPEAKEZ AKA Andy Mandel is only putting forth better and better tunes

Starting out as a duo, the Commix name has graced some of Drum & Bass’ leading labels since coming to prominence in the early 2000’s, and the debut album, ‘Call To Mind’, holds the honour of being the first solo artist album for historic label Metalheadz. The lead single, 'Be True', has long since cemented its place in Drum & Bass history as an anthem on the grandest scale, and the album itself was incredibly well received across the electronic music spectrum and is widely regarded as one of the best D&B LPs of all time.

As a DJ his focus is on the deep, the experimental and the musical.
