With their last anthem, Climb High featuring Danny Byrd still resonating in our heads and speakers, Viper Recordings very own Brookes Brothers waste no time bringing the goods once again with their latest single, Good To Me featuring Majesty.

Majesty, a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from East London, is fast becoming known as an act to watch for 2016. Majesty’s current single, Conversation feat. Scruffizer was playlisted on Channel AKA the same day as Good To Me was premiered on BBC 1Xtra.

Good To Me is all about bringing the funk and soul back in to the D&B party, a welcome reprise amongst the heavy set flavour of late. The focus is musical with a subtle liquid approach, mixed with their impeccable production skills; Good To Me rolls out with that perfect feel good vibe with the powerful yet gracious vocals of Majesty. Already boasting a first play from MistaJam on BBC 1Xtra and premiere from UKF, there can only be more goodness to come as the Brothers continue to show off their diversity and broad approach to global Drum & Bass.  

Drafted in for remixes duty is up-and-coming Viper Recordings exclusive artist, BMotion. There’s a calm approach to the remix with crates of funk, but when the drop kicks in its instantly clear to see how BMotion is swiftly carving a name as a force to be reckoned with. Thundering drums and shattering basslines all pull together to create carefully executed, well-coordinated chaos.

Fortunately for us he’s adding one more to the list with his incredible sixth studio album, ‘Electric Sun’ filled with jungle flavoured rollers, garage-inspired chop-ups, down tempo head-nodders, swirling synths and merciless subs.

Settle inside paradise with 'Icarus' - featuring fellow Cambridge connoisseur Hugh Hardie - along with 'After Dark' they provide a warm, anthemic wash throughout the LP that contrasts with the equally ethereal yet hypnotic slow dance of 'Still Life', featuring Holly Drummond. Switch the tempo! Logistics takes a different direction with 'Fight 4 U' and 'Deep Breath' relaxing the rhythms with strong subs and choppy, pitched vocals aplenty. Closing the LP is a collaboration with rising vocalist Zara Kershaw, whose soulful and sophisticated sound perfectly compliments Logistics’ style in 'Finish Line'. He’s also succeeded in syncing vocalists Sherry Davis, McLean and Stella Attar with his melodic, liquid D+B vibrations in 'Cold Light of Day', 'Lost In U' and 'Take Me to Another World'.

Legion & Logam, a trio who've cemented themselves as an international crossover act whilst pedestalling US drum & bass within the Ram roster. After the breakaway success of their first single on the Program imprint, 'House of Cards', as well as a host of fresh cuts of the Ram Records compilation series, they're returning with a single to cement themselves yet again within the genre's fabric. Having become a staple of festival stages globally, it's no surprise they've piqued such interest across the scene.

'To Be Alone' features Micah Freeman on vocals, making another appearance since 'Holding On' and adding his signature twist between carefully constructed layers of noise. Freeman's voice stretches to its furthest heights, dropping down musical crescendos and over kicking drum patterns. Snapping percussion washes over each train of sound with distorted guitar underpinning each segment. Piano notes filter through the mix, creating an emotional composition that pedestals the style Legion & Logam reign over.

Once again, it's time to get with the Program… One that celebrates diversity whilst distributing acts like Legion & Logam onto an unsuspecting audience since its inception.
