GOLTZ was a three-piece band consisting of Mario Palaschke on keyboards, Christoph Musil on bass and Gunther Benedict on drums. It lasted from about 1990 to 1994 and most of the tunes came up in late night jams, based on particular topics one or the other member of the band suggested. It was a thoroughly democratic outfit – just the way it should be when everybody is ready to present his emotional innards to the outer world. Nothing is perfect here, but everything is heartfelt (some of the tracks are based on poems by Christian Morgenstern). Maybe there’s a chance to start it all over again…
