Kashpitzky joins for DifferentSound Podcast #185.

Growing up in Tel-Aviv, Kashpitzky was etching out his musical path as a guitar player in a metal-core band. At some point though, he traded amplifiers for drum machines and really turned on the heat. In order to complete a formal musical education in sound design, Kashpitzky relocated himself to Berlin and graduated from the SAE Institute. He is one of those DJs who you can’t clearly pigeonhole in terms of sound. Always changing, always banging, he has a track for every occasion, letting even extended sets never get boring. His unique definition of techno is perhaps best exemplified in his energetic, deep yet groovy productions, often combining broken beats with organic textures. In this regard, it is worth noting his release permanently on Shlomi Aber’s Be As One imprint, MindTrip, Olympian, and more established labels worldwide.

Originally from the south of Spain, the passionate artist started her musical journey in the city of Barcelona by the age of 18. Her style moved forward strongly and independent when eventually crossing paths and partnering up with Angioma with Room Lab’s streaming venues and X concept by Room Trax promoted parties all around the city.

Her fusion of trippy sounds and hypnotic techno has taken her to several dj performances on both, national and international scale now starting from Apolo in Barcelona to Egg Club in London and About Blank Club or RSO in Berlin - just to name a few.
It’s been no secret with the German capital of Berlin becoming her new residence.

Her deep passion for the electronic music scene grounds where others refuse to show respect.

And so it’s been her last solo release on Room Trax -¨ Dirty Game¨ After first steps in the game it’s not a surprise at all that her path has just revealed the first glimpse of what promises to be a bright shining future.

Championing a sound as ebulliently driving as it invites us to dip our toes into further hazy sonic grounds, the Dutch producer swings the pendulum betwixt racing 909-fuelled horsepower and more subdued, fearsome climates. As ever clinical in his approach and deadly in his execution, Hitam has us tripping out to a hefty-handed two hours of relentless tech rage and hypnotic sound design laced into one smouldering hodgepodge of whelming, non-stop gusty sonics. Her artistic journey is just starting to unfold, propelled by a mindset and drive to push boundaries, and aiming to become a live act in the near future.

MYRA is a Dutch Techno DJ and producer with pure passion and an ever-evolving taste for electronic
music. MYRA favors to translate herself into up-tempo groovy rhythms with hard hitting percussions, and mysterious textures where she explores the more trippy and hypnotic side of techno. This powerful blend of sounds, creatively merged, releases energy to everyone present.
 
Coming from a musical family, MYRA started playing piano at a young age. Soon after she discovered
electronic music, and over the years she gathered a carefully chosen vinyl and digital music selection that developed into her distinct and unique taste for electronic music.
Taking the next step, MYRA got into producing music and released her first tracks. She also started to play
at renowned (underground) clubs and festivals throughout the Netherlands with recent highlights like Awakenings and ANTIDOTE, where the latter she also holds a residency.

MYRA is an emerging and exciting artist on the rise and resident DJ at the Amsterdam-based Label and event series ANTIDOTE. MYRA favors to translate herself into hypnotic yet powerful techno, focusing on strong percussive elements with mysterious textures where she explores the more deep and trippy side of techno.

Coming from a musical family, MYRA started playing the piano at a young age. As a teenager she discovered several underground subgenres, and over the years she gathered a carefully chosen vinyl and digital music selection. Taking the next step, MYRA got into producing and honed her musical and creative capacities at the Electronic Music Academy / Conservatory of Amsterdam, where she recently graduated successfully. At the conservatory MYRA discovered her fascination for analogue gear, that she now uses intensively as a producer.

Soon after she started to play at renowned underground clubs and events throughout the Netherlands, with recent highlights in 2023 that include Awakenings, 909 festival, Into the Woods festival, ANTIDOTE x BCCO in Radion and a tour in Asia.
