Chaos Magick

This song was improvised in two stages. Firstly I recorded random guitar ideas where I began by trying to "get" the sound of Mali and the Sahara and West Africa and then continued on into more harsh and aggressive sound attacks. Secondly I played back the guitar recording and sang vocal noises over it, making up whatever seemed to go with it, drawing up the ancient in my soul. As the guitar recording changed I found that a song idea popped into my head spontaneously so I sang it as it came to me. This is one of my favourite tracks because of the inspiration coming so suddenly and complete.
